Grilled cheese sandwich in Tillamook OR. Check that off the bucket list. Marionberry cobbler is yummy too.

I chose this eatery because it’s about a block or so away from the Transit Center. Ordered the ½ tuna sandwich and cheesy mac salad(in my opinion, misadvertised). Meal was good but had a very unfortunate and negative overall effect(I won’t go into detail here)

Husband and I passing through town on a Monday around 11 am, and looked over options for eats on Unilocal.Decided on this café. It’s quirky and kind of looks like a bakery turned antique shop. But they had a pretty good looking menu, prompt service, good coffee. We came up to the front and ordered the croissant and the bagel breakfast sandwiches. They were tasty and honestly I thought the price was completely reasonable. Would go here again.

What a great find in Tillamook! We got three different sandwiches and they were all really good. Bread? Soft and fresh. Meat? Generous amounts but not overwhelming, just the way I like it. They also have homemade style desserts like berry cobbler. There was were some oyster dishes on the daily special that looked pretty good as well.

Great find in Tillamook! Nice indoor or outdoor seating. The grilled pastrami special was done perfectly! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We didn’t try the desserts, but they looked good. Cute downtown to walk off your meal, too.

My favorite lunch place in town. Not too pricy, consistently good fare, nice environs and it’s always great to support a non-chain local place. Veggie sub is my go to favorite and they have pretty great daily specials.

Mediocre at best. Salad selection has been expanded, but the only one without meat was mostly iceberg lettuce. My lunch companion’s bbq ham sandwich completely soaked through the bun, requiring him to finish it with a fork and knife.

Blue Moon serves tastier, chocolatier mochas than Starbucks or any chain coffee shop I’ve been to in recent memory, and the English muffin breakfast sandwich was hearty and healthy. Plus, their free wifi was fast! Staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely go back!

Not to many places in Tillamook to choose from. I really wanted pancakes but Red Apple café was closed for some reason. I decided to give this place a try. Not very much to choose breakfast wise. I settled on a egg, cheese, bacon croissant. I got one of their cookies cause I had to have something sweet. Everything tasted good! I loved their coffee. It was called sugar and something? All I know is I got cup after cup after cup. Next time I will try one of their scones. My husband had one of their sandwich’s and he said it was hot and good. We will come back. So glad I tried this place.

My friend and I thought that we would try something place new. The Blue Moon is a nice place and the staff were nice. Large selection of sandwhiches. We both enjoyed our sandwhiches, but I thought that they were small for the price.

café or diner? so after our lunch we wanted a cheap cup of coffee and perhaps a dessert. We saw they had some outdoor seating so we thought we’d try it. i had the simple drip coffee for $ 1.25, so didn’t expect much. wife drank a tea, which also was foolproof. i waded through the deepfryer smell of the dinning room to order a dessert off their specials. asked for a recommendation and without hesitation pointed us to the carrot cake. it came with an inch of icing, and also topped with a healthy spraying of canned whipped cream. it definitely didn’t need the extra cream, but hey, we were on holiday. all in all it was alright. the food seemed classic dinner food, lots of fries and burgers. not very inspiring, but did the job. would i go back? no. you’ve been to one dinner, you’ve really been to all of them!

We enjoyed our lunch at Blue Moon today. We ordered The Westerner, served on a deli roll with tender chicken breast and ham, swiss, lettuce and tomato. A bag of potato chips and 3 pickle chips on the side($ 7.95). Beware as the juicy chicken is served in strips and tends to fall out of the sandwich. The Blue Moon Sandwich is a saucy, cheesy mushroom & onion chicken breast sandwich with the sauce tasting similar to fry sauce, served on sourdough. A common theme to many of the sandwiches on the menu is the mushroom and onion. Cheddar mac salad(ditalini pasta) featured peas and diced pickle. The Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad(penne pasta) had cucumber, red bell pepper and black olive with romaine lettuce. Lastly, we enjoyed a slice each of coconut cream pie and carrot cake($ 4.95 each). Healthy portion, fresh baked and great taste.(Average cost $ 11.75/person for lunch, drink & dessert) What Blue Moon is doing RIGHT: Staff greet many customers by name. Overall, a fresh tasting lunch and dessert at average prices served promptly. Where Blue Moon could IMPROVE: We wished for fresh brewed tea instead of out of the soda fountain. Simplify the order process. As new customers, we weren’t familiar with finding the stack of menus, sit and read then walk back up to the counter to order.

Ms. K. and I went here today for the first time. Not bad. They have quite a selection of lunch menu items – sandwiches of the grilled, deli and sub varieties. I had the Country Harvest grilled sandwich and Ms. K. had the BBQ Beef sandwich. They were both good, and came with three slices of pickles and some Lay’s potato chips. I got the espresso milkshake made with a shot of espresso and grounds. It was awesome – just like the homemade stuff I used to make. They also have a nice variety of desserts that you should check out. Solid lunch spot. Couldd be better, could be a lot worse.
