On our drive from Portland to Seattle we saw a sign for the farmers market. The fruit and veggies were great. We bought some things for a picnic lunch to stop at one of the beaches on the way.

This farmers market just started this year and seems to be a success. It is located in front of the Courthouse on Laurel Ave near 2nd Ave. It had a lot of vendors and people buying stuff. I bought some jam (Bear Creek Artichokes) and veggies (various vendors), but I would have bought some meat and other frig related items if I had room in my cooler. They also had craft booths and prepared food vendors. They even had Thai Food! This is a plus for the coast which is lacking in some of the food options we have in the valley.
