The RN tried to upsell unnecessary tests, made bizarre assertions(healthy men in their early 30s need to worry about dropping dead of a heart attack more than obese men in their 70s, because those obese older mens’ bodies have learned to «deal with the stress»), and was aggressive and rude. I feel like I paid $ 140 to endure an antagonistic session with an angry person. Instead of focusing on my family’s history with rare diseases, the nurse instead focused on the need for me to do an EKG, despite the lack of heart issues in my family, and de-emphasized the importance of the rare non-heart related disease that killed my father when he was in his 50s. On top of that, I had to «apply» to be on their patient roster – I had to apply to give them business. Absurd! Clearly the Hudson Valley needs more, better trained doctors. No thank you – I will be getting my healthcare elsewhere.
