Applebee’s

Horrible experience… went in late afternoon, the restaurant was busy, but not packed. Didn’t wait at all for a table. My mom and I ordered off their 2/​$ 20 menu. It felt like things were taking awhile, when the waitress came to apologize for the wait and the manager would take the appetizer off the bill. Mistakes happen, no big deal. After we were done the appetizer, several tables around us, that arrived well after us, began getting their food. One table waited less than 10 minutes for their whole meal while we’re sitting there still without our meals. When our food came (a solid 25 minutes) after we were done with our appetizer, I told the waitress we were frustrated as we’d been waiting an awfully long time while people who were seated after us were eating. She told us the kitchen was backed up… to which I replied, «For just our table!?» She continued to blame it on the kitchen and said the manager would be out. The food wasn’t even hot. The manager was great, apologized, and took the meal off the bill. The waitress on the other hand never came back to the table. It was lucky they have the new electronic screens at the table so we could see the bill. We waited another ten minutes for a check and ended up leaving cash on the table since she hadn’t come since she delivered the food. As we were leaving, the table behind us flagged down a different waitress to ask for service and said she had been «ignored» for over 10 minutes.
Pull it together, Applebee’s.

So I wanted to call in a food order as they are one of the only places that’s open past 9pm. (Positive) when I called in the order the woman on the phone did an awesome job at hell king pick out what food items to buy. She actually looked and read trough most of the menu for me! She did a great job at helping me order while I was driving up the highway. When I got there about 13min later I was greeted properly and felt comfortable waiting for my food to be completed. The woman who took my phone order actually waited on me at the bar where you have to pick up your «to go» orders after the dinner rush. I always give a 20%+ tip to all waiters waitresses, as I managed and ran many restaurants and delis. I left with. Giant grin knowing I have food for the night! (Food ordered: 2 for $ 20 entrees which were chic finger basket and chick cheese sauce on pence, comes with app. Which I chose artichoke dip) I got home about 40min later and found the other entrée to be the fiesta chic, which I really do not like, to say the least. I did call and complain, but if anyone from that company monitors social media I hope they attempt the correct action. I would back it up with the receipt, but of course Im an idiot and tossed it at the gas station not realizing I would need it! Oh well. Next I’ll order there, but look at food before i drive away with it! The reason for the 3 out of 10 is because that was my only food for the whole day was this Applebee’s meal deal thing… And I only ate the one meal as I do not like the fiesta chic.

All the dishes came out in a orderly fashion and the food tasted alright the waiter seemed new to the job like she didn’t do a bad job but really didn’t do a great job either all the food tasted fine to Applebee’s standards so I was content with it all.
