Quirky, welcome alternative to chain eateries nearby. A tasty, perfectly cooked, juicy cheeseburger with their signature carmelized onions complemented a smoky potato/bacon soup and a spinach salad with housemade red vinaigrette. Room for special functions in this converted old building with a grand porch and a quaint, Main Street America feel. The inside and décor are not fancy, so it’s comfy enough for the kids and weird enough to be cozy. A good stop en route to the mountains, filled our bellies satisfyingly.

Just ate here … Mainly chose this place because of the Unilocal reviews. There might be a discrepancy in regards to restaurant vs pub dining. I came here with my fiancé and had a Bloody Mary and tuna melt with onion rings. My fiancé had bangers and mash. Service was wonderful and catering … Food could use some help. The onion rings though plentiful was too doughy and oily. The tuna melt sandwich was not proportionate so there was too much bread vs tuna. Also I ordered the Bloody Mary because the patrons next to us had it but the taste was off. Apparently the bangers and mash was good but needed more mash. We would go back due to pub atmosphere, friendliness, and the beer. Portions itself were huge for the price so I would recommend for drinks and sharing plates.

Onions is a great place to come for dinner and some cocktails. Everyone is friendly and I’ve always had great service. Onions always has great specials and the food is fantastic!

We stopped here after a short but chilly hike in early November. There was a fire which was so great to warm up to. The staff was so friendly. We got a beer and the onion rings(huge both in size and portion and delicious) and then were told the specials. We got the soup of the day: Short rib Guinness soup, oh my word it was amazing. When up in the area again I know we will definitely stop in again!

Superb lunch on the way back from Lowes. We went through the very picturesque Victorian downtown in Tilton NH and then, hungry as anything, we saw the open sign at this quaint and homy place. Service was impeccable and the food delicious and well presented. Best of all, we didn’t have to eat at a chain«restaurant», which we avoid whenever possible. I ordered the open face sliced roast beef and I cleaned my plate. The caramelized onions were absolutely appetizing. My spouse had the onion burger and that again, was phenomenal. And then to top it off, a Crème Brûlée. A salient part of the restaurant is their desire to please the customer. They will prepare your meal the way you want it, period. No assembly line customer service. As of three days ago, the Inn is closed for renovations and will open again on April 3. We will be sure to return.

Loved it! On our way up to a hockey tourney. The Tuna steak was not the best I’ve had but was a great alternative to the burgers and pizza that most places excel at on our travels up North. Well cooked. The onion rings were wonderful. Well worth the visit for a great menu, very friendly service(thanks Kelly!) and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

We recently visited this charming restaurant. They have two sides, a pub and a more formal dinning room. We were with our son so we are in the dinning room. The food was very good and service was fantastic. We were very happy with this restaurant and will visit again when in the area
