This was our second breakfast stop on a tour of New England eateries. Pauli’s has a classic diner atmosphere with small booths and a counter. Our group had an assortment of breakfasts, with the highlight being the pancakes that several people received. The service was fantastic and the waitress easily accommodated our eleven person group. A great place to visit if you are in the Tilton area.

We are regulars — and Pauli’s is the best! The service is friendly, the atmosphere is just what you would want from a busy, local diner and the food is AMAZING! If you like hash — theirs is great — especially red flannel. The blueberry pancakes are just perfect. Everything is home made and fresh and the prices are great. If we have company from out of town — we make sure to take them here. Everyone is always thrilled. It does get busy — especially on the weekends — but worth the wait(or getting up early :-)

First and last time eating here. EVERYTHING was so slow and food was alright but nothing we can’t live without. They did have maple syrup so that was nice. Unfortunately the hour we waited for a couple breakfasts was just too long. They didn’t even offer us anything off our bill and we were later getting to the lake.

The food and service was amazing! I enjoyed a perfectly cooked creamy oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar! The sweet, molasses homemade anadama bread was the perfect companion! This place really makes you feel like you’re at home! You can’t beat the price for this homemade breakfast delight!

Coming back to Tilton to visit family, My cousin told me that if I missed Pauli’s for breakfast especially the red flannel hash, hash is my favorite treat when going out to breakfast, o’ well they ran out around 9AM so I settled for traditional hash(without the beet color). still the best I had in NH. If you are into specialty breads the Amadama bread is a local tradition I was told. If you want hot home fries and crispy bacon look no farther. Coffee was great and so was the service… just look to see why all the locals are eating here. great bang for your buck.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more excellent reviews! If you want an incredible breakfast, come here, wait in line, order anything with the homemade hollandaise. The bread is all homemade too, as well as the incredible baked treats like donuts and cookies. It’s a great down home little place that caters to locals and regulars, the service has always been great for us. Any day we get to go to Pauli’s for breakfast is a darn good day.

Great place to stop for breakfast on a road trip north from Boston. We were looking for a good basic breakfast and we found it here. Good food, good value and good service. I have a wheat allergy so I usually make a meal from side dishes. The potatoes with onions were especially good and the bacon was perfectly cooked. I would certainly go here again!

As the Unilocal ratings guideline says, Meh, I’ve experienced better. No frills is right. It was a quiet day and yet we were ignored my the server for a good long while before the coffee came. The food was so-so. I’m not even sure what I ate, which NEVER happens to me. I can remember decent meals from decent places for YEARS. My husband really like the sausage patties, but otherwise, I would just recommend finding somewhere else to go. I won’t be going back– I’d rather try my luck with a new place, or just wait til I get home.

My girlfriend and I were hungry at 1130Am, and decided to stop in. At first I was skeptical, but when our food arrived, we were both quite pleased. I got a BLT, which is rather hard to mess up. She ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but that was delicious. Prices were fair too. My only regret is not trying breakfast; their specials sounded amazing.

This is a perfect no-frills place to grab a diner breakfast. The hollandaise sauce tasted fresh over a perfectly poached egg on my eggs blackstone. The anadama bread was delicious and coffee excellent as expected. Service was prompt and friendly. My only minor argument would be that the home fries are not the grilled kind that I prefer but the fried variety. They were still good I should say, just a different style. Either way, this is a great stop for a totally satisfying diner breakfast.

Great food… I had the tuna melt on homemade white bread… The restaurant is small, not a lot of seating and we had to wait for a bit. The 4 of us crowded around a two seater just to sit down, and another couple at a 4 seater offered us their table. Very nice patrons. Note though that they only take cash. We had barely enough cash to pay the bill and were unable to leave a tip…

Another great staple of Tilton. Every morning there are regulars in here and the same ones from years ago. The food has an amazing price. Great for quick morning get together. The aesthetic is a diner the food is good and cheap. Recently after a night of drinking with friends we swung in here to grab some grub. We all had hangovers and needed some fuel to jump start the day and this place was the cure. From NY steak and eggs to omelets and pancakes we were all feeling like the morning was not going to be so rough.
