This is a must-​see gift shop! New to the area – and a person who prefers to shop locally, I spent the day in Tilton to become more familiar with the town. The Blooming Iris was my next to last stop in the day’s outing. As I stepped into the shop, I was warmly greeted by Mel. At first blush, the shop appeared to be very small. Because I hadn’t read the Unilocal description before going there, I didn’t know that there are numerous spaces through which one can wander in search of just the right gift or a greeting card. It is a lovely shop with a wide variety of distinctive gift items, and it was fun to wander and see something new and different in each area. I even found and bought an early Christmas gift for my sister. I’m glad I stopped at the Blooming Iris. I have found my local go-​to gift place!
