Fajitas Mexican Restaurant

Took my husband there for his 1^st time. Our meal was excellent and the waitress Ciara was awesome. Love the margaritas. I had the steak fajita dinner. Really good. Will go back. Thanks.

Ok Mexican food. The corn tortillas were bad. The rice was ok, the 3 meat fajita was good. The service was ok, the server seemed upset every time we asked for something even though the Restuarant was empty. We asked for extra tortillas because they only gave us 4 & was charged $.75. I have never been charged for extra tortillas. Then we asked for an extra beer & the server took away our bottles that had beer in them. Not worth the money

Recently came here on a whim because we wanted margaritas, and this was the closest place that served them. It was a little later in the night, but I couldn’t help but notice that most of the other empty tables had dirty dishes on them. Fortunately they found a clean table for us. Service was mediocre. I ordered the steak taco dinner which was passable but not satisfying by any means. Standard fare. Asked for a margarita pitcher and they couldn’t offer that for some reason, so we opted to order their largest size margarita ($ 22) to split between the three of us. Sever came back with 3 water cups — about a third of each cup with filled with margarita. $ 22 for 3 sorry looking samples of that inadequately tequila’d, overly sweet concoction. Well, we got our margaritas and learned our lesson. So disappointed coming out of this place. Needless to say, we went straight to Jewel to get stuff to make our own margaritas that night. There are plenty of other sufficient Mexican restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.

Food is mediocre and the takeout service is crawling at best. They always seem to misinterpret or forget my order. I have been here several times as decent Mexican food in Tinley is far and few.

When it comes to Mexican and staying around the tinley/​orland area this is where to go! Great food and good portions for the price! Will always come back!

Love going to this place. Everyone is always so friendly, and not to mention the food it fantastic. I never have a bad experience coming here. They also having amazing margaritas, and they have amazing specials for them as well! I would definitely recommend coming here!

Absolutely horrible! We are new to the area from the city, tried this place based on its ratings. Went through the drive thru and to start the people were not friendly at all. Then we got home and the order was wrong!!! The tacos had barely any steak and the little bit it had was rubbery. At almost 3 dollars a taco you would expect more than a tortilla and some lettuce. My husband had a steak burrito and said the same thing about the meat! Will never eat here again!!!

I love the food, but the service is horrible. I ordered cake last week and received flan instead. I let it go. I ordered cake again today, but didn’t receive any dessert at all. When I called, the person I talked to said, verbatim, «I don’t know what to tell you, there’s nothing I’m going to do about it.» Ok… got it.

Ok… I’ll admit I have a problem… I love Mexican food, and this place hit the spot. We stopped in for a little unplanned lunch. For starters the chips and salsa are awesome. My wife and I both ordered the steak taco dinner, and it was perfect. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable. Bottom line is give it a try.

This place you get what you pay for 8 bucks steak fajitas, the steak will be rubbery, the rice bland and reheated, the beans blasé.
Chips and Salsa were tasty. Waitress was a nice mexican woman. Very polite and refilled our drinks promptly.
There was dead fly floating in my friends coffee (gross). I’m sure it’s a rarity but still some apology or compensation would have been nice. Cheap feel to the place as far as ultimate care of service, sort of like the hand you a dish/​ask no questions of a cheap Chinese strip mall restaurant.

I ordered nachos. which apparently at this place means chips, cheese and refried beans. They did deliver and that was nice. The food quality was not that great.

Forgot to check inn when I was there. But I’m always happy when I come here. Great service. Great Fajitas dinner (steak and Chicken). The chips and dip are always fresh and I love their guacamole! Also ordered the Flautas. Very yummy.

Accidentally came across this place. My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed every bite and every drink. Staff was awesome. We both had dishes with steak. Meat just melted in your mouth. Ordered also a tamale and chimichanga which was amazing also

Too expensive and not that good. They didn’t even have hot sauce. They also got my order wrong. I would not come here again. Not worth the money.

Place is still open so I figured they must be doing something right. Went there a week ago with my family and food was decent, but the service was weak. I ran out of tortillas and had to ask a 2^nd time, and by the time I received them my food was cold. Tortillas were over heated and I was charged for them. Went there last night and unfortunately had the same server as a week ago. Tried the fajitas and they were ok, but would rather pay that much for uncle julios fajitas which come in a bigger serving than these. I drank 1 glass of water the whole meal hoping for my server to notice my empty glass on the end of the table. No luck there. I won’t be eating here anymore even though they’re just down the street from me.

I’ve been to this location a number of times and the staff and manager have always been polite and on top of things. The wait for food is not long at all.
Delicious taco salad, tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. The bathroom of a Mexican restaurant can sound like a scary place but it’s always clean and pleasant at this fajitas.
Fajitas brings back memories of my vacation to Mexico, but I try to suppress the memory of my son’s TJ kidnapping.
The parking up front is convenient. Their prices are fair (unlike the kidnappers), and the atmosphere is light and inviting.

They have the best chicken tamales. I also like that they keep the salsa and chips coming, but the best part is they are family friendly ! P. S. Their bathrooms are very clean too!

This place was great! The food was fresh and the service was quick.

Decided to try something ‘new’. The environment was clean and tidy.
The environment was clean with a smell of tortilla upon entering.
The complimentary salsa samples (mild & spicy) were more watery than what I’m accustomed to. The taste was adequate. Folks will eat most anything when hungry.
Tried the shrimp and steak tacos. Shrimp were tiny (no oxymoron here) and would have been smothered with a side dish of assorted veggies if it were not for my wife asking for it as a side item.
Steak tacos were finely diced, dry and over seasoned and over cooked.
My lemonade tasted like it was made from a Margarita mix. Strange aftertaste. No offer for refills at all.
Overall, the tacos were small in size but overcompensated with veggies.
I would not recommend this place and have no interest in returning.
I feel that there is an effort to please a majority of taste buds that stick yo ‘authentic’ cooking. I would describe this as a Mexican ‘style’ eating experience. The scenery looks Mexican, but the food is bland.
I hope they have a future. We were not impressed.

Love this place. Great food: especially the combination Fajita dinner… try and Chicken & Shrimp, corn fajitas. The service is friendly, fast and positively responsive!
The food is always fresh and seasoned well. You’re greeted with a friendly courteous smile, coupled with good customer service.
I am confident of their food: it’s taste and fresh quality. I’m confident of the service and their pricing. I’m never disappointed.
This is where I go when seeking authentic Mexican food near my home. The only reason I gave it four stars, as oppose to five, is that I wish that the dinning room was larger… or better yet… it would be wonderful if Fajitas where a free-standing…stand alone… restaurant. Right? Yay!
