This review is from my husband George Wyatt. I am very disappointed with my last experience and here is why. Upon my first visit I informed your staff that I had new insurance and if your office was in your network which she told me that you were in network. She then made a copy of the new insurance card and had me fill out some paperwork to update my address and other information. After a couple of visits I was told that I had a balance of about $ 40.00 which I thought might be a copay so I didn’t think much of it. Then 2 visits later I was told that I owed $ 140.00 which I asked why and she told me that the insurance did not cover this amount. At about the same time all of this happened I received a statement from my old insurance that stated that I was not covered for chiropractic care. Well no kidding, I haven’t been insured by them for over a year meaning that your office billed the wrong insurance company. So my question would be why did you take a copy of my new insurance card if you were just going to bill my old insurance company. After a couple more visits I was told that I owed approximately $ 550.00 which I told her there must be some sort of mistake, so she told me that she could have someone call me. So later in the day Jennifer called me and told me that what I was told was correct and that I owed all of this money to your company. When I asked why she told me that I have a $ 1000.00 dollar deductible, which I don’t if you were in network. I would have paid a $ 20 dollar copay and 10% of the bill and insurance would have covered 90% and we would not be in this mess. If your office would have told me upfront that you were not in network I would have went to a Dr. that was in network. I then asked Jennifer if she could mail me a copy of all the bills, which she told me that she would. After about 2 weeks waiting, Jennifer called and left me a message that if I did not make arrangements to pay the bill she was going to put me in collections. Now I was shocked because I still have not received the bill so I called her back and she told me that she mailed it to me and I rejected the mail. I told her that I never received the bill and asked her where she mailed it and you would never believe what happened next. She mailed it to the wrong address but I don’t know why since I filled out all of the new paperwork with all of my new information. I gave you a new insurance card with a new form with all of my new information and YOU ignored it so why bother making patients fill anything out if you don’t read it? I expected to pay about 200 – 300 in copays and uncovered insurance, but never dreamed of paying out $ 1000.00 Your staff should have never told me that I was in network. Your staff should have never billed the wrong insurance when you had all of the correct insurance information. Your staff should have never mailed the statements to the wrong address when I just gave you all of my current information. Then I disputed all of this with you in writing and you did NOTHING to settle or resolve this issue. Instead you put my account in collection and we all know what that did that my credit. Warning to all new and existing patients — do NOT use this chiropractor. I would rather have a broken back then ever deal with this office again !
