Please find another hotel, this one is not worth the trouble!!! This is the worst hotel I had been to especially when it comes to technical issues. They assumed that I had checked out before the check out time and they had house cleaning knocking on my door twice that morning… first time was at 9am and second time was around 1030. Check out is not until 12pm. House cleaning did not have to be so rude about it either. I spoke to the manager at the front desk about it and his response was that the computers automatically checked me out and that it happens often. To top it off… they doubled charged me for another night that I didn’t pay for. So now I have to explain to corporate on how their computers double charged me and how much they suck.

Would have have more stars if they had WiFi. They claimed that someone was working on it last night but it’s the next morning and it still doesn’t work. The breakfast is OK but would be nice to have some cooked foods. Just cereal, muffins, and waffles.

Clean enough. Décor was fairly updsted. Quiet on the day i stayed. Not bad, not great. Good odds i would return if in town again

The room was great, but the area was a little sketchy. I could hear drag racing near the hotel several times during the night as well as sirens. The staff was friendly for the most part. I had one lady(day manager???) give me a hard time for not using a breakfast appliance correctly. On my floor, I did hear people in and out of the housekeeping closet(made a unique sound) throughout the night as well as carts coming up and down the hall. I even had someone fall into my door at some point in the night waking me out of a sound sleep. While the room was clean and nice, I won’t be returning.

First I must say our room was great! Nice and clean and was quiet for our slumber. No complaints there! HOWEVER, my complaint lies in the reservation process and what they DON’T tell you! They not only charge you for the price of the room, BUT they ALSO charge your credit card TWICE for the price of the room. They call it some kind of reservation fee that they claim will return to your card 72 business hours later! So for one night stay at LAQUINTA(NOTHILTON.) I paid $ 312!!! I stayed last Saturday night and its Wednesday and I have no return of my money yet. I am beyond mad with this situation! What if that was all the money I had in the world to live on??? Hidden fees! BEWARE!

We stayed here after an(almost) all night trip to the ER. We were there for only a few hours to sleep before driving. The woman at the front desk was very helpful. She quickly booked us and had a room for us quickly. The rooms were very clean. The amenities were basic, but helpful. The Décor was not that bad and was recently updated. The furniture was comfortable and well sizes. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable. This was not a fancy hotel, but they do not cut corners. The service was better than the four star hotels I’ve stayed at. This service is amazing, and consistent at other locations. We have decided to use to use La Quinta as out go to hotel, when we are traveling with a budget.

Book through Hot Wire was very disappointed! Definitely not the 3 star I selected more like a 1. Hotel was out dated, nasty and food was terrible. Do not waste your time. If you get this through Hot Wire you should try and cancel or you will be Sorry! Wifi did not work. Bathrooms were not clean and it smelled like mold in the hallways! Stay away!

Nice modern rooms, but the area was a little sketch(though maybe it’s just the south Chicago area in general), and there was cigarette smoke smell all thorugh the hallways and into the rooms. Maybe they have a non-smoking section? Also, noise through the door was not screened out very well. Great value, if you are ok with the above.

Would’ve been perfect if not for the 5AM alarm set by a previous guest that totally ruined my sleep. I had an important event the next morning and was really disappointed to be disrupted like that. Not sure if housekeeping is supposed to check the alarm settings, but if not, they ought to — just a quick glance, right? Ranting aside, the room(Priceline’d) was clean, service was fantastic, and the continental breakfast delicious.
