I have a long history of skin cancers & have been to a number of Dermatologists over the years. Dr. Kolansky was recommended to me by another Dermatologist to have mohs surgery on my nose. I found him to be extremely professional, dedicated, knowledgeable, gentile, sincere, compassionate, and a genuine caring man, as is his staff. After the procedure, instead of sending me home saying«see ya», he wanted me to go back once a week or more if needed at «no charge» to keep an eye on the wound and it’s healing. What doctor does that? I recently had a biopsy done and was not charged for the office visit or the procedure because my insurance had temporarily lapsed and he didn’t want me to wait for the insurance to kick in. He said he felt strongly that I have the procedure done immediately. Who does that??? I have the utmost respect for him and his entire staff! He is extremely dedicated to helping people and you can tell he really loves what he does. You see it the minute you walk into his office. He and his staff truly care about their patients. I see that this is how they are with all their patients, not just me. I’ve never seen anything like it! I am so thankful that I found him and I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Kolansky, Patti, and everyone there at Advanced Dermatology Surgery & Laser Center. I am a patient for life! Terry E. Millstone twp., NJ

The first visit I waited for over an hour. Dr. Kolansky was rushed, filled many rooms and quickly went from room to room. He offered to burn something off my face but I declined. He did do a biopsy on a spot on my back which unfortunately had to be removed. I went back for the procedure which took only a few minutes after waiting again for nearly an hour and a half. During the treatment he talked over me to his office,“nurse” about a show on TV as if he was a mechanic working on a car. I’m a health care professional myself so I’ll have a colleague take out the stitches so I don’t have to go back. It was just an awful experience. This office nurse who was nice said I should complain to the doctor not to her but he doesn’t give you any face time and I’m not about to complain during a procedure. So to Dr. Kolansky I say: SEEYOU NEVER!
