Since the hardcore music scene is DIY and all about getting its name out there, thats why im doing this review. I respeck da kids, but we need to get one thing straight off the bat. Despite common thought, this is NOT a hardcore label. True HC kids will know this, some of the public and industry peeps dont know this. There are some brutal HC bands distributed on the label, like Bleeding Through, It Dies Today, Terror, Throwdown and NY’s own Most Precious Blood, but there are alot of emo/crycore bands on this label as well. While emo isnt at all my cup of tea, i gotta hand it to Trustkill for being one of the pioneers of the sound, and putting it out there. Bands like Bed Light for Blue Eyes, Hopesfall and Eighteen Visions(sorry, ill catch hell for this one, but California hipsters playing drop D chords isnt hardcore, it isnt bad, but taint HC) serve up the music that will make you wanna cuddle in a blanket with cocoa. Think half the stuff they play at emotional moments in Real World. Genres aside, Trustkill represent their scene.
