Main Moon will always be my favorite Chinese place. A couple years ago I would’ve been biased because I lived in Tipton my whole life, but after living in Indianapolis for 2 years and eating at multiple different Chinese restaurants, I am convinced that Main Moon is hands down the best in the state and also super affordable.
tl;dr Main Moon 4ever.

Excellent food, excellent value. You can’t beat an entrée lunch for under 5 bucks.

The food and service are consistently good for fast food chinese. A nice local family owns this restaurant. We always order take out but it looks fairly clean. Usually takes 10 – 20 minutes.

This is my «Go To» spot, here in Tipton. I always order carry-​out, so I can’t tell you about the dining. Seems to me like it would be a little cramped. Anyways, what I can speak of, is the food, and that’s what it’s all about anyways. Am I right? Or am I right?
It’s a family ran business and the service is quite friendly and efficient, orders normally take about 15 min. The quality of the food (pretty damn good, in my book) is consistent. The price and the amount of food for your buck is just right. True. the food is «Americanized» Chinese, but hey, let’s look at their customer base… supply and demand, right? Even with that being said, they still do their thing well and they still cook things the «Chinese» way. Their love for what they do, is evident in their food. Truly one of the better places to eat in Tipton.

Better than typical Fast Food Chinese with about 10 tables. There are few if any non-​fast food restaurants in this very rural part of the country. I ordered the Pork Egg Foo Yung and it was served steaming hot with a sauce that reminded me of the Hoisin sauce that is served with Moo Shu. Quite a pleasant surprise.
