The food is very reasonably priced and very fresh. I love their carne asada tacos and their cheese enchiladas. I have eating at many taco trucks but I would say this one is the best.

Another opportunity for eats in Tipton is at the Tacos Talpa truck at the southeast corner of Burnett and Woods across the street from the post office on the west side of Highway 99 just north of the mid-town overcrossing. I found the carne adsada tacos to be quite tasty at $ 1.25 ea. With doubled warm corn tortillas and a little fine chopped cabbage and salsa, three were satisfying for a moderate apatite. The burritos at $ 5 ea. are good, but very filling. They have an assortment of salsas to ladle on additional toppings and flavors, but I did not find my tacos wanting that. The truck seems to be there from lunch through the afternoon and evening, but not there for breakfast. They are parked behind a little grove of tree of heaven on a vacant lot. There are some old slabs on the lot that made a smooth surface for a few tables under a canopy and which was wrapped in some shade cloth to cut down on the wind. I picked a very nice day to go there, but it would be comfortable, even if it were warmer or cooler. Parking in the shade of the trees of heaven is getting a little perilous because of the potholes and remnants of slabs and foundations that are not smooth The menu is all in Spanish. They speak English. They are friendly enough. The prices on the menu are listed. They do a good business. One trucker I spoke with said it was the best taco truck on his route between Fresno and Arizona. There is a lot of on-street parking nearby for large trucks.
