This is a great yarn shop. The selection of yarns is dazzling, including some less well known yarns, as well as local yarns… and some of the usual. There are many knitted projects on display to inspire you and, if you are there on a Tuesday, night night is fantastic. Everyone feels welcome even if you are a drop-in. The owner and other staff are very helpful and welcoming. All A+!

Quaint and well-stocked store, owner is very friendly. I have a fantastic LYS in my neighborhood, so I’ll admit I’m a bit spoiled. But I always like to visit other LYS when I’m out of town. I stopped in here hoping for something local. Picked up some lovely Romney yarn in a heathered gray that will make a beautiful hat and mittens. The yarn comes from Romney sheep raised right on Martha’s Vineyard a few blocks from the store. SCORE!

What a great store. Came to buy my wife some stash. Owner very nice and friendly and helped a lot. Lots of cool local yarn and supplies. Prices were awesome. Neat old house. could not say enough good about owner. She really took the time to help me feel at home and find the right yarn for my wife. Thanks for all of the great ideas and offer to ship at a very reasonable rate. I will be back.

Part of my vacation fun money was set aside for knitting. My mom, family friend & I happened upon Vineyard Knitworks last Thursday, May 17th. The saleswoman that helped me wasn’t the owner, but she was wonderful and friendly and patient with my beginner knitter questions. I didn’t take any knitting with me from DFW so I was going bananas by this time, so I bought 4 balls of Noro wool yarn, 4.3 oz of local merino wool, and my first pair of bamboo needles. Very fair prices and an outstanding establishment in a charming home. I will definitely make a point to visit every time I’m on the island. There’s some cashmere, angora, and more wool that I have to purchase. :-)
