We fully agree with the first reviewer, Bill R. — Helger’s provides an incredibly fresh and delicious turkey. Maybe it is the proximity to the ocean air, adding brine?
Even if you live an hour or two away, just bring a cooler along, it is worth the trip!
Definitely call ahead for Thanksgiving.

A farm fresh turkey from Helger’s is the single greatest improvement I have ever made to my Thanksgiving Day feast. This wonderful family-​run turkey ranch has been raising the tastiest birds for a very long time. They are smart, charming and above all, caring of their livestock.
I’d give 6 stars if I could.
They are open year round but expect lines at major holidays and always call in advance to order a whole bird.
