Stopped for lunch. Found a couple items on the menu to be told they were not available. I eventually found something else that I liked that they offered. The options were few but the food was okay. They were slow and I had to remind the waitress several times to get a to go box. I really can not recommend this place but if you like little holes in the wall, it might be for you. I also suspect that there breakfast would be better than their other meals.

Nooooooo, definitely not the«quintessential American Diner». At first impression it has that feel, but you soon realize it’s nothing more than a huddle house with the logos missing. The employees, and the food is the exact same. And unfortunately the amount of grease searing through your colon trying to escape before you make it out the door is the same also. I bet you anything it got closed down. And the employees said«let’s open it up again». If Waffle House and huddle house had a greasy kid, this would be it.

Quintessential American diner. Service is prompt and friendly. The country boy Benedict with its country ham and gravy was a treat.

Big Biscuit is a friendly hometown diner. I’ve only been there for breakfast but it is always good and eggs are cooked as requested. The biscuits are HUGE and I can’t usually eat the whole thing but they are pretty good. I wish they cooked them just a little longer so they were a little more brown and crispy but that is just how I like my biscuits. They might also be a little more done in the middle then too. Overall, it is a good place to get a good breakfast.

Very good service and the food is wonderful. The breakfast menu is the BEST around. On Saturday night they serve Prime Rib, it will melt in your mouth. On Friday night it’s all the catfish you can eat.

The big biscuit is what every diner wants to be. A large and varied menu is great. Breakfast is available any time. I would recommend any of the breakfast platters. My favorite is the Hobo Hash. Custom burgers are cooked to ordered they will do medium. A great waitstaff do an excellent job and always make sure your glass is full. They also do a mean Fish and chips. Malt vinegar is available for the purist.

I would not know if the food is any good. My son wanted to eat here so I thought I would give it a try. We walked in and sat at the bar ready to order. After 3 minutes the manager came over and informed us the where short handed and to busy. We were asked to leave. I was blown away I could not believe that happened. I felt embarrassed to be asked to leave in front of a room full of people.

Nice staff and a cook that can whip up one of the best omelets you’ll ever eat. Not the cleanest place ever and you won’t like it if greasy food’s aren’t your thing but is a nice local place for breakfast food all day.

Delicious food! I came in a little doubtful, since the place looks a little run down, and in the past there have been sketchy restaurants at this location. I ordered banana bread French toast and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! They serve breakfast all day.

Decided to try Big Biscuit Diner based on these other reviews. So glad we did! Had a black bean veggie burger with feta and kalamata olives and my husband had the chicken Philly. Both were very good. Plus I love when I can see my food cooked! Everything was made to order. I could see everything was homemade. Who would have thought there would be this little gem in Toccoa. Definitely worth the stop!

If you are looking for Outstanding food in Toccoa, then this is your place. Food quality is exceptional, service is outstanding. This has become a definite stop on the weekends for us. Breakfast is available when they are open, and everything is good. Burgers are fresh and they have an excellent variety of different types. For me service makes or breaks the meal. The wait staff is attentive and precise. The order is always right, and of you have an issue it gets fixed immediately. Friendly staff and excellent food. Just can’t beat this restaurant.

It’s about blasted time there was a restaurant at this location that had some good food! Up until a few years ago, the building this restaurant is in was a Huddle House. A very poorly run Huddle House. Sigh. Some brave and creative folks bought the property and opened up the Big Biscuit Diner. YUM. The menu is eclectic. I have tried things from all parts of the menu. NEVER a disappointing meal here. So far. I mean, we keep going back to see if it will happen. ;) Today, I had the BLT Club, add tuna salad. Big delicious fresh sandwich. It comes with your choice of one of a few sides — this time I ordered the Sweet Potato Fries with the Maple Mayo(don’t turn your nose up — just give it a shot!). The hubby ordered today’s Blue Plate Special — which was a chopped steak with brown gravy and a gracious plenty of sauteed onions & peppers. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans — but he wanted hash browns instead. Nobody even batted an eye. When his plate arrived, it had a nice golden brown serving of freshly made hash browns. Oh, and we shared a basket of Fried Mushrooms. The only bad part… waiting for them to cool off a bit so we could eat them. Light crunchy batter + a small dusting of Parmesan cheese + a creamy horseradish sauce to dip them in = YES, PLEASE! These folks have been open for a few months… we keep coming back! A couple of weeks ago I went for a «breakfast for dinner». OMG — try the French Toast made from Banana Bread. Moist, flavorful, and sweet. I did NOT use syrup on this. And one more good thing… the prices. This place is NOT going to empty your wallet. Ok, with all of the gushing I am doing here, I do have a small complaint — the music. Lately it has been«modern country». Eye rollingly bad country music. That does beat what they do on Sundays though — southern gospel. Honestly, I won’t be back on a Sunday until I’m sure THAT isn’t happening again. It’s been a few weeks and my ears are still ringing in horror. Go for the food. Stay for the friendly service. Come back to experience it again. Bring earplugs if you go on a Sunday.
