This place is straight up soul food! Probably the best buffet I’ve ever been to. Staff are courteous and friendly. I love the fact that tea is included in the price.

Confused after my second visit. The first visit blew me away. They had a great selection, everything was cooked to perfection, and their hot wings were to die for. We left more than satisfied and extremely happy that we found such a delicious and affordable place to eat in the town we now call home. That was a Wednesday around 5:30. The next visit we were very excited to return. It was a Friday and probably closer to 7:30. We were a little disappointed from the moment we walked in and saw the selection was nowhere near as diverse as the first time, but we picked up a few favorites from the first visit(fried chicken, mashed potatoes, some bread, and fish) and once we started eating, our disappointment only grew. The chicken was completely dry and covered in grease(total opposite of the last visit), the mashed potatoes were bland and cold, the gravy was practically slightly seasoned water, the fish was undercooked, and the bread was rock solid even though it was a fresh batch. I was only able to stomach one whole piece of chicken and a couple bites of the potatoes. Both my husband and I were sick within an hour of eating our food. We were so disappointed because the first visit was outstanding. Not sure if we will be going back. If we do, it will definitely be during the week and not on a weekend.

Excellent! Thursday night and they were hopping… easy to see why. The service was fantastic, the buffet food some of the best I have ever had, flavorful and hot. Good assortment of meats, vegetables, and desserts. $ 8.00 per plate and that includes tea or water.(Soft drinks extra). Simple décor, clean dining experience. We loved it.

I think this is the best buffet I’ve ever had. This is not your run of the mill buffet place, and it shows. Went there on a Sunday at the little bit off hour of 2pm and it was still almost completely packed out, mostly churchgoer crowd there, we were ushered right to our booth and the waitress was very attentive from there. The décor is kind of cabin style on the inside, pine wood finished, for a buffet definitely a4 star there. The food, the food. Now you don’t come here if you want to stay healthy and have a craving for the fried food, this will do you in. But, I’d have to say this is probably the best fried pork I’ve had. Fried chicken was tender and juicy, all the fixins(mashed potatoes, gravy, corn) did not taste canned or bulk made. They do offer a baked chicken, but I was too filled up on the fried food to venture at it. they also have a wide variety of desserts, from banana pudding, pies, chocolate chip cookies, and an ice cream machine to top it all off. The menu is slightly different every day. You can get a calendar of the offerings at the cash register. This place definitely will see me again! However note that they are only open 11 – 3!
