Been awhile since we had been there. It was much better years ago in regards to selection on the buffet. What items they had were okay. Nothing was outstanding food wise, but items were acceptable for the price. Service was great and staff was aware of getting plates off the table and re-filling drinks. The coconut cream pie was excellent. Found it very odd for a steakhouse there was no red meat on the buffet… Weird! I would not go back for what was on the buffet just my preference. Yet if you are not looking for anything special they have a fair price for what they offer.

Ok. While you might venture in here to try the buffet, which I wouldn’t blame you for doing… DON’T EVER, EVERGETTHESTEAK. Well since this place is a steakhouse first, then a buffet, 2 stars for being an aweful one. The steaks are not even close to anything you’d want even your dog to sample. The $ 8.99 pricetag on it should have suggested that maybe the steak should be skipped although, I do think I’ve had $ 8.99 steak that was far more edible than this. In favor of the waitress, she did ask if she could bring me something else, and she brought tips. They were juicy, but the meat is still by nature the problem. They were still tough, and flavorless. Also, anytime I’ve ordered tips, they were accompanied by onions and mushrooms. These were just chunks of meat. The buffet is pretty decent, some chicken wings, chicken, lots of great sides, the salad bar looked fresh(didn’t try it), but we had gotten in by lunch and the breakfast items were very noticeably from much earlier, so we did not try them. The dessert bar redeems this place. I remarked maybe one time I’d come in and pay the lunch buffet price just to indulge in the dessert bar — they had a wide variety of desserts, choc and vanilla soft serve ice cream, LOTS of toppings, banana pudding that was pretty good, and chocolate chip cookies. If you’d rather eat an ok buffet, then gorge out on good desserts, this is your place. Both myself and the girlfriend felt sick to our stomachs later, indigestion and the runs. Sorry if that’s TMI. While maybe not the fault of this place, the $ 10 Sunday pricetag for the buffet kinda would be the reason I’d really avoid this place. There are far better buffet options in Toccoa.

This is a decent buffet place in Toccoa. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either. I really enjoy the salad bar — there are a nice variety of items and some pre-made salads(potato salad, crab salad, 4 bean salad and more) and they even have pickled beets(LOVE). The hot food was hit and miss today While I usually LOVE their smashed potatoes, tonight they were«gummy»(like they had been overworked). The price of the buffet comes with a made to order«little sirloin» steak. I ordered mine rare, it came out mid-rare. I can deal. The flavor was really good — but the piece of meat had a LOT of gristle and fat. I usually opt for the fried chicken… but I was too full after a big salad, some steak, potatoes, and a few other odds and ends. They have a soft-serve ice cream machine and a variety of hot and cold desserts too. One thing missing tonight — Lemon Meringue pie! Oh well, I got a little ice cream with a brownie instead. :) During the week dinner costs less than on the weekends, and they now have a «loyalty card program». It’s free to sign up, just show your card when you check out and you earn points. I’m waiting to see what kind of coupons I get. :)

We’ve always enjoyed the Quincy’s in Toccoa, maybe sometimes for the wrong reasons(overeating). This morning it was exceptionally good. I heard a rumour that there are new owners, if so I hope they keep up the good work! Plenty of good fresh food and now an omelet chef. Low price. Polite, helpful staff.
