Friendly staff. Good assortment of new and used. Found some rare soul, blues, and country vinyl. Newer stuff is expensive, but it is everywhere. Nice selection of used at a decent price. Not cheap but reasonable. Stop here every time I travel to and from Chicago.
They also have a nice selection of vintage equipment and movies.

Very nice music and equipment store. The vinyl is separated into new and used sections which I am a big fan of. They also have an impressive selection of used stereo equipment. The staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

One of the best records stores I’ve ever been to! Came here for RSD 2015 and was impressed by their selection, their staff, their prices, and the organization of it all. Very rarely do all of these things come together in one record store, but Allied has it all. Best Record Store Day ever!

Visit Guru Gabe Beam at Allied… he and his crew will buy and sell the most obscuro music and video in just about any format… visit any one of these hipster anachronisms to stock up on what will sustain the revolution when sunspots and gun totin’ neocons plunder the known comfortable world. Mp3s will shrivel and vinyl will triumph once again! *Noise Show Fans* Ask about the Robinwood Concert House. Gabe hosts numerous avant garde acts from around the world.
