Applebee’s

It’s Applebee’s. Everyone but my six year old enjoyed their food. However (and this is NOT Applebee’s fault) during our recent visit about 15 mins into our meal there was a family of one of the busers that was absolutely out of control. They were screaming, climbing all over the booth and their mom just kept threatening but not doing anything to control them. Our server knew they were obviously bothering the entire section (I cannot stress how loud the kids were and the scene it was) but couldn’t do anything about it because well… Our society says we are not allowed to say anything or it becomes a race issue. Long story short, our server took our drinks off our bill without us having to ask. I’ll return if I get another gift card but I won’t seek them out for a dining experience.

Here on a Thursday nite, not busy, took a little while to get a waitress, but she was pleasant. Ordered what else, but the Salmon! My table was right in front of a big TV so that helped. The drink was made to perfection, the Salmon was well prepared, that came with Spinach, that should of not covered the diced potatoes. Not nit picking, just saying. Took awhile to get a simple desert, staff appeared overworked. The desert came half melted, no charge when delivered from manager, a good sign. This rates much better than the stores in Detroit, from where I live and learn. That’s what Detroit should also do.

This Applebee’s is my family’s go-​to restaurant because its frequently good. They often had new items to the menu and I LOVE them. I have honestly never had a meal that I didn’t enjoy. The prices are great too! I usually get something off the 2 for $ 20 menu because you get so much for that deal! I also have to add, their appetizers are amazing! Try the spinach artichoke dip or their queso dip! As for he waitresses, I mostly have a very friendly one. I can only specifically remember once not liking the waitress. They’re pretty good about checking up on us to make sure we have everything. When we do get our food, the manager typically walks around to make sure our experience is going well– I think that is pretty awesome! It shows that they actually care about the customers and want to know if there is anything they should work on. So… after this long review, I will definitely be coming back often.

Never a bad experience here. The food is really good and the selection is great! Whenever I’ve gone, I’ve gotten good service, nice food, and an enjoyable experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants as far as a consistently great restaurant goes.

Needed a little late night pick me up, so we stopped in. Food was nice and hot! Service was very quick tonight. Waitress was very pleasant! Loved coming in for half priced apps. Wish it was a little warmer in the restaurant. Overall, we’d return.

I took my mother to the local Applebee’s for her birthday on Jan. 4. Mom had never been to an Applebee’s before, and I hadn’t been in there in a while myself. The place was relatively busy, but not too overcrowded. We were seated within 5 minutes of getting there.
They took forever to take our order though, and more than 45 minutes after we ordered to deliver our food. Both of us had ordered a rare steak. I mean come on how long does it take to «not» cook a steak?
All the while, the waitress didn’t come back to our table, neither of us was offered a drink refill. When we finally did get our food, it took another five minutes before we could start eating, as they hadn’t given us any silverware. Apparently they were out.
The steak was ok, but we had both told the waitress that we didn’t want the mixed vegetables, yes this is getting a bit nitpicky, but they were provided anyway, complete with the juice that puddled on the plate, and sloshed onto the steak, making a few bites taste like broccoli. Normally not something I’d complain about but with all of the other things, it bears mentioning.
On the «bright» side they did provide a free milkshake for mom with it being her birthday. The problem with that being that she told them she didn’t want it, and is diabetic.
Overall we spent about $ 40 on a meal that turned out to be average at best, and an experience that was terrible.

I hope these 5 stars help. They serve beer so that is awesome plus someone left a roasting pan full of candy and we all were given a portion. Bonus! I suggested they serve tamales and they said no but that is understandable. I noticed they don’t have urinals at each seat but hey who does. The dishes were promptly swept away, along with them went my feet off the ground as they serenaded me with sweet sweet love songs about rainbows and unicorns and the promise of a bright tomorra. Can you imagine if a bee came out of an Apple as you bit into it! Yikes! Luckily, THAT! DID NOT HAPPEN HERE. Anyways the managers are lazy or whatever But who cares I sure dont. They keep asking me to but more beer so they obviously know what I want so that’s the best part! Can you believe they took my AA card as ID! I gotta go they are kicking me out… The mens urinal is a little lower then I would like.

This restaurant is one of the only ones nearby for my family aside from Bob Evans and Cinco De Mayo so we go about once a month. It is a decent location for chicken wings. The service is almost always bad. In the years I’ve been popping in I have had 2 decent servers who clear plates and actually pay attention to their table. The managers seem lazy and disinterested and my food is prepared incorrectly at least half of the time. I waited tables for a total of 7 years and can relate to busy serving staff who are spread too thin… this is rarely the case at this location. No idea what other Applebees are like. This one is mediocre and we go because it’s convenient. I like to tip 30% but unless my server is one of the 2 girls that actually want to make money… that usually doesn’t happen.

Good service fir how low staff they were. Went their for halp rice appetizers who can beat that with me and a friend, great service food cooked almost to order. Although you get what you pay for. I also shared a steak that was barely edible. so much GARLIC parmesean cheese toppling twice as much as the steak cooked a little to long :(

Mediocre but tasty. Portions have gotten smaller for the price. Kitchen is mediocre at best, fryer was down a couple times, food has come out burnt.

Horrible service, even worse food. NEVER eat here. Go to oregon if you really want applebees.

This Applebees has the worst service. they are slow, not friendly and do not care about clearing plates from the table. Just go to Red Robbin instead.
