They don’t serve wine… at all… they should really upgrade their selection, wine shouldn’t be a huge request.

Pure and simple this is a college bar! Pool tables and patio are available. I was a regular when I went to UT but after graduating only stop by after a football game. Good place to meet up with friends and have some beers, not a good place if you want to watch a ball game or UFC fight that’s not their target audience.

It’s a college bar in every sense of the word. I love coming here during power hour for ½ off drinks, meaning you could get drunk with $ 10! The vibe is pretty chill, not necessarily somewhere I’d chose for a ‘night out’ being that I Always feel over dressed lol.
Honestly, if you could get past the aesthetics of the place, this is the perfect place to go for happy hour. Drinks are always stiff & super cheap.
I do miss Fallon, tho. She was the best.

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. Stood at the bar for over 15 minutes each time (saturday 11/​03/​2012) that we wanted a drink and the people around me were saying the same thing. I am a manager of a restaurant and if my employees were giving such terrible service I would definitely do something about it. Would definitely not get such good business if it weren’t for the location and prices.

Jake’s is my favorite bar around UT! They have nice drink specials and a great atmosphere! One of my favorite times to head there is around UT’s homecoming! The food is typically bar food which is what is expected at a bar. Prices are pretty inexpensive which is a plus.

This place is just a straight up UT undergrad bar. One of the few that are right in the campus area. Not a bad place, had some excellent drink specials, $ 2 Molsins and $ 2 Miller Lites. The place also smelled a bit of stale beer (but then again what college bar doesn’t). It got pretty crowded while I was there, apparently no Friday classes for these students. There were a few pool tables and I think an area outback for smoking. This place is just pretty average college bar, nothing terrible nothing great. If you’re looking for cheap drinks and to play a game of «there is no way that dude is 21» this is a good place for you. If not drive right on past.
