I had the most awful experience ever here! I went in to buy my boyfriend a movado watch and the sales rep who happened to be the general manager was awfully rude and didn’t seem to care for my business at all! My boyfriend got me a couple pieces of jewelry from Jared’s in the past so I thought I would buy this watch from there. When I went to the store it took over 5 minutes to be acknowledged. When I spoke to the rep I asked for a specific model number and said I was looking for the right price and was shopping around. When I told him the model number he looked at me like I was stupid and said«do you really think I memorize every model number to every piece of jewelry». So he looked it up and said that they didn’t have and they would have to order it. I asked what the cost was and I was so excited because it was cheaper then everywhere else I had looked andI told him that. I then asked how long it would take(with Christmas being so close I wanted to be sure I had time) he said it would be 5 to 7 days. I then asked when did he think it would be in he said he couldn’t tell me for sure but I could just order it online from home and two day ship it. I said okay but I can’t get it shipped to the store then can I. He said no. He could careless if I bought online or in the store. Being in retail I always want to buy from a person because I want to keep those stores alive. But because he didn’t care about my purchase at all I went home to order it. When I went home to order it the watch was not available on the website!!! When I called to complain I found out the rep was the general manager! He argued with me how he has the best customer service and I was«simply wrong» and how in twenty years nobody has ever complained about him.(That may have been true because he did not know how to properly handle a customer escalation.) When I hung up the phone with him he didn’t even say bye. Before we hung up he actually told me that I «just had something against him». I felt like I was dealing with a kid. When I asked him could I have his managers email address or number he said«you can go to or something,» and I actually repeated back to him«or something?». I would never suggest going to this Jared location or any in Toledo! Just use the website if you must buy from Jared!

I came here based on the recommendation of a friend. I admit that not all the people working there are friendly– some of the women are a bit snotty. But I love working with Gwen and Enrique! They are friendly and do a great job to help you find what you’re looking for. And they don’t just try to push the most expensive thing on you. They’ll give you their honest opinion if something isn’t worth it. They also have drinks(water, coffee, etc and munchies that you can eat while waiting.) I also love Jared’s ESP plan. For a one time small fee, you get a lifetime warranty that includes resizing, cleaning, rhodium if you something white gold. They’ll also check to make sure no stones are loose. You do have to take it in every 6 months so they can check on it to keep the plan valid but it’s nice to go in for a free cleaning anyways. They also offer financing there for 0% for I think 18 months? Check it out.
