Kroger

When I’m down in Toledo, I usually stop here for my Yuengling run. It’s always in stock and they carry the 24-​pack bottle cases. They also carry the Yuengling seasonal beers.
Otherwise, it’s a Kroger. Grocery, deli and bottle return. Simple.
For reference, this store is about 1.5 miles (if that) from the Chik-​fil-​A, so kill two birds with one stone.

Like most Kroger stores, the parking lot is poorly laid out, full of idiots, and the produce is good for a few days at best. I only go to Kroger if it’s absolutely necessary, otherwise I support the local markets. This particular location, as other Unilocalers have said, is the «ghetto Kroger». It is called this for good reason. Also I believe recently the bank was robbed there. So, yeah. Enter at your own risk.

Customer service is non existent. Either the employees try to avoid you, or they’re doing the bare minimum of their job requirement as they are gossiping with other employees. The place is not that clean. The service is extremely frustrating. I try to not come here but sometimes I have to run in for a quick item. One of the worst Krogers in Toledo.

What can you really ask from a grocery store? Well for one the on duty police officers could do more to keep the bums from sleeping in the foyer, or the teenagers asking for money at the front door. No wonder this gets the label as the ghetto kroger. The absolute worst was when I witnessed a woman parked in the fire lane eating chicken wings and throwing the bones out side the car window. I want to say that this place is a product of the surrounding neighborhood being close to the college but a real ghetto isn’t even located close by so I don’t know why they drive this far just for this kroger. So unless your in the need for groceries in the middle of the night you’re better off at the kroger on alexis.

This Kroger is known as the Ghetto Kroger. People that live in this area do not go here they go to the Kroger in Sylvania.
Just off the express way and in a very busy section of town. You have Best Buy just a few hundred feet away, so if you need food and a TV, this is the place to go.
The store is relatively clean for the amount of people that go through here every day. Just minutes away from Downtown this Kroger is easy to reach anywhere in West Toledo and Trilby Area.
Gigantic parking lot. If you have a nice car park it far away from all the others. I have seen people open there doors and bang the car next to them, or just go to the Kroger in Sylvania.
