Driving form Detroit to Cleveland and stopped here for dinner. Was a good decision. Very relaxed vibe. Great food and fantastic service. Started with the deep fried brie balls which were super tasty. Then went for the cedar plank salmon also very nice. The home made fries were super. Would come again if in the area.

Fantastic brunch, lovely spot in an interesting neighborhood. The service was great, the atmosphere is very nice with a really cute patio. We came for Mother’s Day brunch and would highly recommend.

I have been begging my husband to take me here for the Sunday Brunch for months. Our friends mentioned wanting to try it the other day so he finally caved. We all four unanimously were so disappointed. Every. Single. Thing. Was. COLD! No flavor and stale. The turkey was dried out, prime rib was over cooked, bacon was RAW, the list goes on. We will never be back. The bill came, and we were astounded! $ 18.95 for garbage.

This review is for lunch on Wed today. I ate Manhattan Burger for $ 11.00. It was OK other than french fries which seemed fried several times. but the Crispy Pork my friend ordered for $ 19.00 was not well prepared. Several pork slices were all burned so not edible. I am a Toledo resident so hope any restaurant on the Adams st will be open and successful but I feel sad that even Manhattan is losing it edge.

Awesome bloody Mary’s. The clam chowder was delicious. My guest and I were delighted by the service. We will certainly come again.

I was in Toledo on business and went here for dinner because the food sounded good. I was not disappointed. The food was great and the staff was awesome especially Penny and Connie. I liked it so much I went back Thursday for happy hour. What a deal! I met the owner Zac and chatted for a while great guy. I think this is my new go to spot when I come back to Toledo.

Really nice Sunday brunch, great place to get away from kids(I say that as a parent that also needs to get away from kids once in a while). Bloody Mary was fantastic, free mimosa with the staffed buffet was also appreciated. Will definitely return!

Manhatten’s might be our go-to place when we want a great meal. And to support a local establishment. As an added plus, their outdoor porch is dog friendly. And they treated our pup real nice during a recent visit. Interesting renovated building in the uptown district. Nice atmosphere. Tonight I had tournado surf and turf. Jumbo scallops atop beef medallions. Excellent. We split cheesecake for dessert. And it was good.

This is my go-to place for lunch meetings. Menu is limited but everything is great. I frequently get the Cajun Rocket Fuel sandwich, the«Met“erranean, and the Wildwood Wander salad with chicken. The homemade chips are awesome! My husband and I have been there for dinner as well and have not been disappointed. What a Toledo treasure!

I’ll start by admitting that Manhattan’s is my go to spot in Downtown Toledo. Situated in the center of the burgeoning Adams Street«uptown» neighborhood, this NYC inspired restaurant has excellent food and an even better staff. Whether it’s a business lunch, after work drink or a night out, there is always an eclectic crowd and a great atmosphere. When the weather is nice, the wrap around patio is a fantastic spot to relax. Indoors, the bar area has a lot of space while remaining intimate and the restaurant boasts some cozy tables for a quiet dinner. Food quality, presentation and service are very consistent with a wide variety of selections to satisfy any palate. Food favorites include: charcuterie plate, crispy risotto orbs, New York strip, and any lunch salad or sandwich! Also a fantastic and diverse beer selection is on tap all 4 seasons.

We just came here for drinks and we were the only ones here. Bummer! Anyhow, the bartender was very sweet and kind. We’re from out of town, so I bought some glassware to take home. The place is pretty neat and I wouldn’t mind coming back to eat when we’re in town again!

This review is for their Sunday brunch. I don’t see alot of reviews that mention it. Their own website doesn’t mention it. It’s $ 19 n change with tax from 10 to 2pm. Brunch comes with 1 free mimosa, and coffee. It happened to be crowded this Sunday so I elected to sit at the bar. Waited about 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention to find out how it works. Made it over to the buffet about 1245pm. I see remnants of bacon, eggs that looked like they had been there quite awhile and at least 3 empty containers. I went down to the omelet station and mentioned to the gentleman that there were several empty containers down there and I think some of the food needs to be changed out. There was no one else in the area to ask/inform. He went and told someone and told me it would be replenished. Asked him if he could scramble me a couple of eggs and he said he’s only allowed to make omelets. He was nice about it so ok I stood in the buffet area about 10 minutes and no new food came out. About 10 minutes later a few of the containers were replaced with majority left sitting. I sat in clear view of the buffet and most items were not refreshed during the hour n half i was there. Nothing I had was good and lukewarm at best. Bacon was only decent meat I had. Not sure what kind of sausage that was but didn’t taste like breakfast sausage. The lunch items were mashed potatoes, pasta, quiche, and roast maybe? Couldn’t tell. Desserts were 2 pies, fruit medley, banana bread. Highly disappointed. Wouldn’t return for brunch. Can’t recommend.

A bit overpriced for what you get and atmosphere can be too loud, but there is just something about this place that makes me return. I think the service has a lot to do with that. Have never had bad service here. Wait staff just the best and the food is always good

It was our first time at Manhattan’s tonight and we were VERY pleased. The Bartender, Gabe,(who ended up being our server) was very friendly and knowledgable as far as questions on the wine list. Eager to pour a sample of one which I questioned, he spewed more than basic background of the French wine I contemplated; I appreciated that. I ordered the NY strip while my boyfriend decided on the ribs from the appetizer section. The menu was small but eclectic and appreciated on my behalf. However, my guy is used to a big variety of basic options. I’m not a rib fan but the smell was phenomenal! My steak was mouth watering. Cooked to perfection. A chef caught after shift even hit us with some fun facts of the historic downtown Toledo area while we dined on the patio outside. The only flaw I could really point out was my bone marrow paired with my steak; VERY salty but. Is also coming from a woman who very seldom cooks with salt and isn’t familiar with bone marrow or the taste it can bring to a palate. Other than that I really enjoyed my time. Great vibes. Great food and we will definitely be back!

Hesitant because it’s a buffet, but WOW … Best brunch I have had in a very long time. Amazing Bloody Mary. Mimosa is just ok, but the first one’s part of brunch, so who cares. You won’t be sorry. Wish we had a brunch this good in Columbus. We’d be there every Sunday!

What a fabulous place! Was in downtown Toledo for an evening job interview and needed a light bite to eat. Saw this place on Unilocal!and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. Situated in a gentrifying area known as «Uptown,» Manhattan’s has the look of a clean, upscale neighborhood bar & grill, and delivers big time. I ate at the bar, as it was between lunch and the start of Happy Hour. The restaurant was set for dinner, and being alone, I wanted to be at the bar. The bartender recommended the house-smoked pastrami and it was outa this world. Served on homemade bread from a reported 150 year old recipe. Outstanding. Their fries were also pretty special — lightly seasoned, skin on, and piping hot. Very friendly staff and cool music choices via Pandora. When was the last time you heard Charles Boyer singing mid-century French songs in a pub? Having that interview, I did not have a drink, but should I have the opportunity to be back in Toledo, I will definitely try their libations and can see making this a regular hangout. Check it out.

From out of town and found Manhattans on Unilocal.Food was good, but the lunch atmosphere was a little drab. I’m sure this place is much better after dark.

I really struggled with weather to give 3 stars or 4 — but always like to give the benefit of the doubt, as was a first visit. Atmosphere I liked. Nothing fancy, but the interior has a lot of charachter in my opinion. Food was good, but not great. I got a chicken dish, and it was not to my taste, and rather sparse. My wife got the beef, and there was enough there we could have split, and hers was wonderful. I also was not thrilled with my cocktail. My martini was all juice, but again, my wifes was very good. All in all, a mxed bag. While I did like it, I am not sure I would rush back. If invited, I would certainly not object though.

Had lunch with my husband here today since it’s close to where he works downtown. This was my first time eating here. The parking is really good, that can be an issue downtown. I had the daily special, parmesan eggplant on a ciabatta bun with pesto french fries as a side and my husband had the cheese steak sandwich. The food was pretty good. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey for a couple of sandwiches and fries. The service was also good, our waiter was attentive and nice. We didn’t have to wait long for our food either. The atmosphere was nice, the building is very interesting and clean. The music was a bit loud, so it’s not a great place for good conversation, but it’s a nice place to chill and eat some decent food in downtown Toledo.
