Netty’s

There are about seven staples that all Toledoans can agree on, Netty’s is one of those slots. If you live in Toledo, you’ve had Nettys — NUMEROUS times. It’s the place to go for that famous summer treat.
The menu is pretty basic and contains simple flavors and toppings. This is in no way a specialty shop and serves nothing but the basics. Soft serve ice cream, chili dogs, and chips.
The hot dogs are very small so I recommend at least two with everything (chili, mustard, onions). They have kiddie cones up to large orders of ice cream. Not the best soft serve I’ve had because it has too much sugar so it’s almost grainy, but sometimes you’re just in the mood for that.
I usually get a strawberry cheesecake nibbler, which is like a mcflurry, cheesecake bits swirled into strawberry ice cream. The freezes are great too. A lot of times I’ll get the blue raspberry freeze. This place only operates during the summer season so check Facebook or ask a local because it’s a big deal when it first opens up for summer time.

Best chili dogs everrrr. Ice cream is good too. Perfect summertime treat.
My go to: peanut butter malt, 1 chili dog with everything, 1 plain hotdog with extra mustard.
They outdoor seating = picnic tables. Pure nostalgia. Has been his way since I was a kid.
