I actually like Panera in general it’s not bad food but this particular Panera has a staff that needs to cheer up !! The food was also not up to standard and I felt ill after a salad I had… booooo !

I thought I might give this place a try as it was close to the theater I was heading to at Franklin Park. I got the mediterraean half sandwich with Garden Vegetable and pesto soup. The sandwich was not exactly what I would’ve expected in a bad way. The bread was some kind of desertish tasting loaf bread. Really odd. The soup I could not even get halfway through. It had a watery consistency, and the flavor was just boring and flat in every way. Service was fast though.

We were here at 230 on a Saturday. Not too busy, yet the charmer(Kiersen) behind the register seemed extremely put off by helping. No smiles, no real greeting. The chili was good, sandwich not so much. The floor of the place was really dirty. What’s happening to customer service?

I love the drive thru and how fast they get your food ready for you. Granted it’s just soup, salad, and sandwiches, but customer service is impeccable here. They would also add the right amount of milk to your coffee for you if you ask them! This is somewhere I would go after work if I’m too tired to cook for the night, but I wouldn’t purposely drive to Panera for a meal because it’s nothing special really.

Like all Paneras, they have great soups, salads, and sandwiches. Nice décor, good food. Very very busy during typical peak hours. Sometimes service suffers during peak hours. Keep an eye out for seasonal specials. If you use the drive thru, double check your order before you leave. I have used it four times in the past few weeks, and my order was wrong(oftentimes incomplete) 3 out of 4 times. Service issues are the reason for 2 not 4 stars.

Bread is good, not always fresh though. Had a couple of stale purchases. Went there for breakfast, over priced and not really that good. Last time I went I would have rather had a McMuffin from McDonalds! Personally think it’s over priced and overhyped.

I had a business lunch here last week. The food was great, but right in the middle of our meeting, we received a notice that we had exceeded our 30 minutes of WiFi. This abruptly ended our meeting with unfinished business. The person who selected Panera Bread as the meeting place was mortified and apoligized profusely for choosing that location. I understand that they don’t want people sitting there for hours on end occupying table space, but to limit WiFi to 30 minutes is a bad policy. It definitely eliminates me choosing Panera Bread as a location for business lunches in the future.

Comfortable environment. They have free wi-fi, so you get plenty of squatters there, but it’s still a nice place. Prices aren’t bad, but you’ll pay more than you would at McDonalds. It all depends what kind of food and atmosphere you want.
