Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with Quality Overhead Door. I contacted the office to find out why my order was delayed. I received a call back from the salesman he stated he forgot to place my order. He noticed this error last week and placed the order once he realized. I asked why I was not informed and if the order was rushed in order to provide an adequate service recovery. He informed me this was no big deal and no it was not rushed. He was arrogant, rude and accepted no responsibility for the error. He also informed me I would not cancel my order. I asked to speak with the owner. The owner told me delays happen. I stated this was an error not a delay. I said the problem is not that a mistake occurred, but rather your lack of communication and recovery. Also, this error backed my order up several additional weeks. I was informed by the owner that I was not allowed to ask questions and counsel them on how to service their business. I was also informed by the owner that he was a past sergeant in the military and he referred to me as «sweetheart» multiple times. I asked him to stop calling me sweetheart and listen to a paying customer. He then said«‘Anytime I want to compare W’2’s to come by» I was speechless, I have a degree in Business Administration and am a VP over a sales department. I would never handle a situation or treat a customer this poorly. I have also never experienced any«owner» acting so unprofessionally. Based on google reviews, this is not the first time the owner has been unprofessional. I have never wrote a negative review on any company but felt the actions of this company were so unprofessional that I needed to allow potential customers to be informed. I canceled my order, but was informed that they would keep my deposit. I found it ironic that the same owner who bragged about his W2 would need my $ 100 deposit. This was a poor business decision on their part, losing a sale of over $ 2,500. I hope this management will learn that when you make a mistake, own it, communicate it and fix it.

I was pretty happy with our service. The technician came«on-time,» although that’s not a major feat, seeing as how the time given to us was between 8a-noon. However, he was polite, did a good job, and was reasonably priced.
