I will concur with Carolyn E’s review. This store in particular is much more inviting(i.e. friendly employees), than the store in Westgate, but the price hikes change the reason you go to a thrift store. I noticed they started this a couple years ago when shirts were $ 3 – 4, but silk or brand name shirts were $ 6 – 7. This is too bad, because this store was enjoyable to shop in because you could get good prices and the afore mentioned selection and space to move around in.

Savers used to be my go-to place for getting interesting items for costumes, clubbing, or just wearing in general. A huge store, there are always tons of things to look through and pick from. They also have nice dressing rooms and roomy carts which enable easier shopping. …however, the last time I was in, they have also hiked up the prices. There have always been some items that cost a bit extra, but this time around almost everything it seemed was around $ 5 or more. Dresses cost much more than that. I suppose this is understandable — it’s still a good deal. However, it was more fun and I bought more when the prices were lower overall, encouraging me to buy a few oddball items for costumes that I wouldn’t spend the money on now. On the plus side, the quality of the items for sale has gone up a bit — there are fewer cases of completely worn out shirts on the racks than there were some years back. It does still have that«used clothes» smell, though — the same scent you find at most Good Will locations. Savers offers not only clothes but shoes, books, accessories, records, and I think some furniture… During the Halloween season, they also have a large selection of new costumes and costume accessories on sale. They also make a point to highlight items for grabs that would make great costumes(though imagination and a little luck is all you need to put together something amazing)
