Excellent service! Had a bayou omelette and it was delicious. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

It’s a small place, a much older crowd. But it was Sunday breakfast. The waitress wasn’t very professional and it took her a while to refill my coffee, however she was nice. The Co2 was out, so my boyfriend couldn’t get a pop. No big deal. The Juevos Ranceros were delicious and I ordered a single pancake. It was a huge pancake. Overall it was delicious, well seasoned, cheap and had huge portions, just don’t expect anything fancy.

My hubby wanted to try this restaurant on one Saturday morning and anything that keeps from cooking very early in the morning, I’m all for. I had their griddle breakfast with a waffle, 2 eggs, and bacon. My husband had their chicken and avocado omelet, which he did not enjoy. My only complaint is that when someone orders«over medium» eggs, that is exactly what they want, not barely«over easy». However, I was having a good time with my favorite people and I wanted to eat my breakfast. I ended up eating around the super runny yolk. All in all this a solid place for breakfast. If we do go back, I will stress«over medium»

The sauce for the eggs Benny. The sauce for the eggs was good. The hash browns were good. The staff Is friendly. The place seems kind of older not sure on how long they have been here. For the price it is good. Oh, they opened Feb 11, 2015.

We’ve been without our regular diner for months and have sadly been floating from diner to diner, trying to find a happy place. Today we found it here. I couldn’t have been happier with my meal. Everything was delicious, the place is bright and clean and everyone was so nice. We’ll definitely be back.

Yesterday was our first time trying Sunrise for breakfast, impeccable service with a smile. Very good quality food, our eggs were perfectly prepared, bacon was cooked just right, and the pancakes are outstanding. My wife said her hash browns were the best she ever had. This will definitely be our new spot for breakfast and we’ll have to try lunch very soon. Thank you Sunrise.

I enjoyed eating here. Not much of a variety. But the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The scenery was nice. I also enjoyed the food.

Amazing local mom-and-pop breakfast and lunch restaurant breakfast and lunch! The food was perfectly seasoned and there was no need to add any salt or pepper. Made from scratch and piping hot from the griddle to your table. Our server Kalen was amazing and had great recommendations. Fantastic food and service a definite winning combination and must in my book!

Great food great price great service. We would definitely recommend this place. It’s a great alternative to the chain restaurants around. We got the sunrise special for under $ 6 and it was so much food.

Sunrise Skillet is now officially my favorite breakfast place! I originally took advantage of a Groupon to try them out and was so pleased I’ve been back 4 times since(pretty much at least once a week). The coffee is wonderful and the food is so fresh. The wait staff have all been very friendly and keep my coffee cup full. The first time there I had the veggie omelet which is served with hash browns and toast. Their whole wheat toast is very tasty as well. All of the veggies in my omelet were fresh and sautéed just right, and the hash browns were golden brown and just the right degree of crispy. The next time I went I had the mushroom, onion and swiss cheese omelet. This is the BEST! The mushrooms are fresh and what a difference this makes. I had an omelet at another establishment and they used canned mushrooms… what a let down after having fresh mushrooms. I’ve also had the strawberry coconut waffle with whipped cream. Out of this world good! They use fresh strawberries, not the canned or frozen/thawed variety. The prices are very affordable. Both the omelets I’ve tried are only $ 6.49. The strawberry-coconut-whipped cream waffle is $ 5.99(they also serve this with syrup and butter). Great taste and value = a winning combination!

We have visited Sunrise Skillet twice now and have been impressed each time by both the food and the friendliness of the staff. While the menu is comprised of pretty standard breakfast food, where Sunrise Skillet stands apart is the quality of their ingredients. On our first visit, I ordered the strawberry waffle, which came with a generous helping of fresh strawberries on top. I personally can’t stand when restaurants serve pie filling as a topping for waffles or pancakes, and I was assured that wasn’t the case when I ordered. The waffle was very light and airy, and was sprinkled with cinnamon. On our second visit, I ordered the meat and potato skillet and noticed the potatoes were the perfect size and had great seasoning, something most restaurants skimp on. My husband ordered the peanut butter waffle with bananas on top on our last visit, and it looked excellent. Glad to see a quality restaurant thriving in this space. Skip the chain restaurants and go here instead!

New breakfast spot for us!!! Loved the Irish Benny. Asked for onions with the hash browns and they came caramelized. Yum! Wait staff excellent, too.

I was excited when I saw the signage go up a few months ago for Sunrise Skillet. After a bit of a wait, they finally opened. Although Mayberry or Doc Watson’s are our usual spots for breakfast, this new place is close to home and their prices seemed on target. Using a Groupon, we stopped in for a late breakfast. The interior was clean, bright and inviting. Immediately the server told us to take a seat anywhere. There weren’t many people in there so we nabbed a booth. The menu is short and sweet — breakfast and lunch items. My partner in shenanigans ordered a western skillet served with bacon and two over easy eggs, and I had the Benny Blackstone with sauce on the side and fruit instead of hash browns. Both meals were made fresh to order, and we cleaned our plates. His skillet was mostly skillet potatoes but had a smattering of fresh veggies and cheese too. The only thing missing was toast. Mine had a ton of flavor and while not a traditional poach, the whites were fluffy and yolk was perfect and runny… served a top bacon and a perfectly roasted tomato slice. The only downside was that it was likely jarred hollandaise but it was still good quality. The fruit cup consisted of banana, strawberry and melon and all fruits were perfectly sliced and ripe. We will be back and were very happy with the quality and service.

Stopped in today and got the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich. Their hash browns are fantastic! This is my new breakfast spot.
