Needed a hard to find tablet model, and i needed it fast. Super Nerds had one of the only 2 in the country. Had to try for days to get someone on the phone. Despite selling other devices through the internet, They would not create a listing for this one. I had to call back many times, eventually getting them to fax me a CC receipt so I could sign it and fax it back. This is a mobile device company we are talking about here. Online sales should be second nature, not tooth and nail. Finally after days of back and forth I convince them to take my money and ship me the device. That was on a thursday. No tracking information provided. I reach out and can’t get a hold of anyone. On Wednesday(10 days after sale) I finally get a tracking number. It was shipped on Monday(4 days late). I’ve expressed a need for expediency at every possible step. I paid for expedient shipping. Why am I paying for priority shipping if you can’t walk yourself to the post office. Overall, from first contact to in my hands took 12 days. The device arrives. The box looks like it was hit by an elephant. Only 50 bucks of insurance on my 200+ device. Battery won’t hold charge. The rear panel is split on one side, as if he tried to open it without realizing you cant. Meanwhile, the whole time I have been in touch with the manager, he assures me that he’s been using the device personally and it’s in great condition. Didn’t come with a charger. Haven’t tested the free Bluetooth keyboard it came with. It did include a surprise 16gig micro SD with hundreds of photos and videos of what I can only assume is the seller and his family. None of them scandalous. Thanks, super nerds. Tl;Dr Day 1 I call cuz I want a phone Day 3 I reach the seller. Day 4 he takes my money Day 7 he ships it out. Day 10 he gives me a tracking number Day 12 I get my «mint» device that holds no battery charge and is damaged on one side. Remember, on day 4 I paid for 2 day priority shipping.
