Community pool with recreation swim, lap swim and swim lessons for kids. Have been here once for the lap swim, which costs $ 5/visit unless you get a pass and come two or more times per week and the passes cost less if you’re a Toledo resident. The hours are good, with lap swims weekdays in the morning, lunchtime and evening. It wasn’t too crowded when I was there, each lane had 1 – 2 people in it. The water is a bit warmer than I like it, though, it doesn’t even feel cool when you first get in! There’s very little natural light so it’s a bit depressing but the ceilings are high so the air isn’t stuffy. There are plenty of aids — flippers, kickboards, pull buoys, etc. to use and the entry side of the pool is so shallow, you can stand on your knees! The staff was friendly and helpful and the changing rooms have benches, hooks and showers. They’re still working on installing lockers, you can hang your stuff on hooks by the pool. Lots of parking out front, too.
