Zero stars. HORRIBLE contractors do not care to properly diagnos the pool problem. HORRIBLE customer service, do not return calls or emails. Our stupid first american home warranty forced us to work with this company. Our pool has been broken for nearly a month with NO help from them or the home warranty co. I have spoken with«supervisors» and made about 10 calls to NO resolution. I am going to be forced to spend thousands out of pocket and take them to small claims. This freakin’ sucks! Do NOT use this company.

Sent me a bill for their tech who showed up and informed me that they don’t repair spa equipment. He admitted he had never worked I one before and couldn’t help determine the problem or repair. They still expect to be paid for the visit and provided no service? Terrible customer service and waste of my time.

Worst company to work with. Anna who answers the phone is by far the worst receptionist ever. I called 2weeks ago, the tech was supposed to come out between 12 – 2, showed up at 5:30, stayed for 30 seconds. The part ordered a week later was wrong. The tech who came out today was knowledgeable, the heater needs to be replaced. I needed it fixed for company at Thanksgiving that is s why I called weeks ago. When I called Britton Pools, Anna parroted the script when I interrupted she said very rudely,“if you would let me finish talking, you may understand”. I waited and asked if I could speak when she was done and she said, «fine.» I asked if the company could send in the report asap, she said they would not be able to come out for 2 weeks and«I should call my insurance company and ask for another pool company.» Click. Yes, the rude girl hung up on me. Well, Happy Thanksgiving to to you too and hope your business continues to prosper as per the reviews.

My letter to them explains some of my frustration: , I am extremely frustrated with your piss poor service.: * I noted to you on 8÷4÷2013 that pump didn’t turn and filter selector vale didn’t work. You still have not fixed the valve. * You came out here, much later than the appointment time so I wasn’t able to be here and«determined that the engine was bad without doing much testing * You left the pool pump on, as well as the booster pump while having the selector valve set to drain. o So the booster pump ran dry for 3 days. Which could have damaged it? o The filter pump was also running, and the debris holding it back by the impeller got loose so it emptied my pool. That has cost me ~$ 500 to fill up again, put salt, chemicals in etc. o Regardless you should have turned of both switches/clocks. The pump was getting electricity and was smoking hot when it wasn’t turning. And when it did turn, it emptied my pool * It was NOT the engine that was bad! It was the impeller that was stuck. It was working fine by the time you came here to switch out the engine. You wasted your time, warranty companies time & money, and my time. * How in world could you notice that it was working? My pool was out of water because the water was being pumped straight out to drain. * I told you from day 1 that the filter valve selector is not working and stuck in the drain position. You still have not fixed that. It had debris in it and was stuck. I had help fixing this, and putting it in a position so it doesn’t pump water into the drain. MY pool was turning green because I could not run the pump because the main selector valve pointed to drain. * You said you could not test the equipment with little water in it. How come I was able to? You work with this every day. If the pump is not sucking water from the pool drain, there must be a leak in the selector valve sucking air from the skimmers. In two minutes I put tennis balls in each of the skimmers and the pump worked fine sucking from the pool drain. So yes, that is a problem as well, the skimmer/drain selector valve has a leak. * It has been a week, and you still have not addressed or fixed the main problem, the selector valve. * You say you can’t test the equipment if it is working, but you have not even changed it yet. It is a bunch of delay tactics. Please get your work done, this should have been competed a long time ago.

DONOTUSETHESEGUYS!!! TERRIBLETERRIBLE Service! Now, they may tell you they are sending out a tech, but don’t count on it. That is, considering you can even get them on the phone, or by some miracle they actually return your call. It would be one thing for them to have come out and not fixed my problem. It is an entirely different matter when THEYCAUSE A PROBLEM and DONOTFIXIT! If for some reason you want your pool pump to leak gallons of water everywhere, then by all means, give Britton Pools a call!
