I had Les do quite a bit of work on my home including installing new windows in an external wall where there were no windows. Everything else about the job was ok but the windows were not installed properly and they are leaking. I called Les about this months ago but he never got back to me and there is now water pouring into my house and I can’t get a hold of him anymore. I wouldn’t use him again.

I am a big Unilocaler. I come to Unilocal for so many different needs. If you look over my reviews I give credit where credit is due. I have not been dissapointed until now.
Les returned my call promptly and arrived on time the day of the appointment. I showed him the areas I needed fixed and I mentioned that these were small projects and I understood if he was not interested. Les told me that the small jobs kept him busy in between the large jobs and things were currently a little slow. This was Tuesday, ¹¹⁄₁₈. He said to give him a couple of days and he would get the quote to me via email.
That Saturday I texted Les because I had not seen an email come across. He texted back to apologize and said to give him until Monday and quote «I get do busy at times I can keep up with the estimates.» (Please see above where he said he was slow) Monday evening I texted asking what time the quote was sent. I never received any response in any form.
My frustration lies in the fact that if he didn’t want the work i would have respected his choice had he been upfront in the first place. Instead I lost a week in getting the work completed because of Les’ lack of communication and respect for a potential customer.

Les and his crew did some tiling and plumbing in a bathroom. They also painted my laundry room from ceiling to baseboards, including all the cabinetry. They were at my house for 4 days. This company is easy to work with. Les, as the general contractor, stayed in touch with me and checked on his crew twice each day. The crew was professional, arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of each day. When i later discovered a small adjustment to new plumbing fixture was required, Les had someone there within a couple of hours to fix it. Finally the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company
