Palm Harbor

In we rolled, knowing nothing about mobile/​modular homes, but eager to learn and be educated, as these types of homes seemed best suited for the country/​rural location we selected. Sunday afternoon, no one else in the «showroom,» yet we got no service, little education, and an indifferent young salesperson. «Just look around.» Several of the homes were not open, although he told us they were. He came out to open them, only to find out he didn’t have the keys. Next big issue, the A/​C wasn’t on in the open homes. HELLO! Houston, well into the 90’s, summertime, no shade, and you expect me to even go into your display homes? You couldn’t even breathe. All right. We just moved on. These people couldn’t sell life rafts on a sinking ship.

STAY CLEAR of this place. Palm Harbor in Tomball, Texas is the bottom of the barrel. They use, abuse, break promises and rip people off. They don’t care about people at all, just about making money. Now I know that this is true of most businesses, but Palm Harbor really doesn’t care at all. They had no concern for a person’s situation to the point of making promises that they knew they couldn’t keep. Their homes are very well built, but don’t let that fool you. What’s put into the home in the factory and trimmed out by their independent contractor’s is done so shabbily that my 5 year old son could do a better job on some of the things they did. They have lazy, uncaring, insensitive and incompetent employees, both in their office and manual labor. It is almost one year since I bought my home and I still have not gotten my Title because of their negligence. Everyday I find something else that was not done right. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear.
