The visitor’s center is a place to get information about what’s available for tourists in Arizona, as opposed to an expectation that it’s the attraction. There’s a gentleman here who is happy to answer questions and point one in the right direction. Tombstone’s visitor’s center had a water cooler with cups available as well(no cost to the visitor) — beats buying a bottle of water at the stores along the old town strip. The AC does not seem to work well here, so coming in to cool off may not be the best reason to stop.
