I have attended a lot of classes in Center for Health and Healing. There are definitely lot of classes to choose from so there is something for everyone. The description of the classes can be found on their webpage which is very helpful. Having moved here from New York City I did find the classes here more expensive but it compares to the prices in the area. You can always get the pass that suits you to bring down the cost. If you have a lot of the time then definitely get the monthly pass and take advantage of the many classes offered here. All the instructors are very sweet and extremely helpful. They definitely know what they are doing and guide you through the poses beautifully. I do really love this institute but did not give it the full 5 stars because of the things they can improve on. When other studios in the area and beyond are embracing technology and using apps such as MindBody this place is moving away from it. They have stopped taking credit card, as pricey as the passes are you have to use Cash to buy them. I don’t know about you but I definitely don’t carry $ 300 dollar in my pocket. I understand there is an ATM on premise but who pays ATM fees these days?!? The hot studio could use a little improvement, the heat does not disperse properly, probably because the heater in the back seems to be missing the piece that disperses the heat(this has been like this for a long time now). So, instead the area under the back heater is super hot compared to the rest of the room. There is definitely draft through the doors as well which affects the temperature in the room but this almost works towards the advantage of people who don’t want as much heat on a particular hot class.

The Center for Health and healing is the place to go for all your Yoga needs ! The place is serene– the teachers are great and the owner is super compassionate and definitely a part of the community. I highly recommend beach Yoga for true peace and grounding.

I only attended one class, and I don’t like to write reviews after only one class because you don’t get the true experience through one visit, but whatever. I took Jivamukti with Brie. The class was engaging and fun and a nice introduction into a different form of yoga. She brought an instrument with her and incorporated music and mantras into the class. I don’t know why I knocked them off one star. Probably because I didn’t really like the studio space– the entrance feels dated and crowded and the sound of cars honking or driving by was distracting during class. I didn’t think this studio was that expensive, and I thought their online schedule was very useful. It would have been nice if the studio was on Lululemon’s OmFinder so I could see where their classes fall in relation to other area studios.

I live out of state, but try to get a class here whenever I’m in town visiting my parents(especially during beach yoga season!). I wish there were a studio with a similar vibe near my home. First of all, there is something to be said for doing normal things(yoga, whatever) in beautiful places. Yoga is an incredibly enriching, restorative practice anyway, but to do it in the beautiful sand while the sun is low over the ocean is divine. Some other things I love about the Center for Health & Healing: —(I believe) all of their classes are open to drop-ins. It’s easy to try out something new without committing to a whole series of classes. — There’s a great variety of classes to choose from. Even hot yoga, which is not official bikram but has a similar vibe. — I love Dawn’s(and therefore the studio’s) positive body image/ability mindset. They believe that yoga can benefit everyone, not just those who already fit and flexible. — Compared to the studios I’m used to in Maryland, the drop-in rate is very reasonable. And beach yoga(which to me, is better than studio yoga) is only $ 5 or $ 10! The even have several summer sessions that are free with a food item donation for charity. — The website is well organized and informative. If you’re confused about something(Where do I park /do I use a mat for beach yoga?) you can probably find the answer there!

All of the instructors are extremely helpful and sweet. I love that they change the schedule of classes each moth, so it gives you a chance to experience everything. I especially love the hot yoga classes and the judgement free atmosphere!

The Center For Heath and Healing has changed my life forever!!! When the student is ready the teacher will appear… After a long search for a studio that offered peace, tranquality and healing… I finally found the connection that was missing from my life at the Center For Health and Healing. I experienced more than just yoga and found a new way to live my life. Dawn and her staff are so educated and passionate about sharing the gift of yoga. The center offers books, aromatherapy, reiki, massage, workshops, retreats, yoga clothes and so much more to truely take yoga off the mat and into your life forever.

Love this studio! My only complaints are that they are a little bit pricey, but when they run specials like $ 25 off of class cards, that helps. Also, their summer schedules are horrible. I work a full time job(8 – 4:30) and I feel like I can never really get to the class I want to take.

Never did the yoga at the studio but have taken yoga on the beach in Seaside. What a great place and what great instructors. Jason and Dawn are great. I might even try the hot yoga today.
