After an epic night on the boardwalk this is the way to start your day! The place was poppin and had really retro and gnarly décor. Our Latvian waitress was super cool and informative. I had never eaten ‘pork roll’ before. It was so supreme! Each bite I found new flavors and nuances. The pork roll itself was like a ham/bacon hybrid of flavor. My wife had the eggs benedict. There was this smokey flavor to the Canadian bacon that set it in a whole different class of food. If you ever come to seaside heights shore, hit this spot!

I loved this place. Really great, friendly service. Food was delicious. They had great recommendations. Went with family of 4, we each tasted each others and one was better than the next. Great eggs benedict. Delicious burgers. Definitely recommend but be prepared to wait.

Me and my husband eat here every Saturday morning. It’s such a cool and classic atmosphere with excellent service. No 1 item on the menu is bad. My personal favorite is the Herman breakfast sandwich. The owner Cindy is always there greeting every customer. Highly recommend Fast Break to anyone who is interested in a good diner.

I recently visited seaside with a big group of friends and we found this place on our last day visiting. Absolutely fell in love with the extremely friendly atmosphere and the well priced and tasty food. It was made quick, with a smile, and tasted amazing. We will without a doubt be making this our diner of choice when we visit again. Hopefully Madison will be there to serve us again with upbeat and spunky attitude. Highly recommend this place.

Great food, great service, and friendly atmosphere. This place a a hidden gem and although we have lots of breakfast and lunch restaurants around us this is for sure our goto place. The owner is always there and ways stops over at our table to say hi and see how our meal was. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and they do make you feel at home there. Don’t waste your money at ihop or Perkins.

What’s with all the 5-star reviews for this place? Le Bernardin in NYC(I know, I know… I’m not comparing just saying…) doesn’t get such a consistency of 5-star reviews on Unilocal.I think it’s quite suspicious because the food just isn’t that great. It was much better when it was the Town & Country Bakery. They made great cakes, pies, pastries and the world’s greatest brownies. The Fast Break is at best«so-so». Eclectic menu that over reaches. The«décor» is a hot mess; the food only slightly better.

Just a really cute and fun local spot with great food! I love the«Piggy Joe», and their coffee is good, too. We love coming here, and so do the kids. Not much more that needs to be said!

I stopped in on MDW and wow, talk about being overwhelmed! There was absolutely no system in there besides chaos! It seemed like there was a lot of new people, but still, the lack of training in prep for a holiday weekend couldn’t have been any more obvious. We sat at the counter & must have waited close to 10 min before someone even looked in our direction to acknowledge us. The only reason this place got 2 stars was because of the 2 cooks who actually knew what they was doing! Meanwhile, waitstaff was preoccupied by their toaster more than customer service. As if the Egyptian décor in a 50s looking diner wasn’t enough to make your head spin, just try watching the waitstaff. I’m all for supporting local business, but I will not be returning to this one.

Very service and atmosphere made it that much more enjoyable. Took my mother here because it is one of her favorite spots. Got the tropical waffle, and it was amazing. Mom got Pumpkin pancakes, they were oh so soft and fluffy. Definitely will come back

Long time frequent customer of this homey, hip diner. Impeccable countertop service. I personally recommend the homemade corned beef hash omelet. Along with their fresh squeezed oj and always fresh coffee, any breakfast or lunch dish is worth a try here.

I really like this place! I’m so full but the food is so good I don’t want to stop… that kind of food! The waitress is super polite and friendly too. Great service, great place! It’s kind of 50’s with the color scheme and neon lights but the artwork was a bit off. who cares though when the food is on point!

Fast Break is a down-home, roadside diner with fresh food and pleasant service. It’s quirky décor may look a bit odd from the road, but it’s quite fitting to the feel of the place. It’s clean, affordable, and most importantly, delicious. Any classic staples are a solid choice to order. I love their taylor ham. egg, and cheese, but their omlettes and pancakes are tasty too. There’s also a plethora of sandwiches including burgers, reubans, and wraps that will satisfy you. It’s a great stop before a daily trip to the beach, or if you’re out shopping on 37 and want… well, a ‘fast break.’ Our summer residence is on the island, and sometimes we come out here just for a change of pace.
