The food is very good. Specially their carne asada. Only negative is;they will charge u for an extra peace of lime. I ask the waitress and she told me is the restaurant policy. other than that it’s good. …

Just moved here from hawaii and i am from So-Cal. My wife is from michoacan mexico. So it was a must to find some good mexican food. I have tried a few places in the month or so i been here. But this place right here is unbelievably good. If you know anything about latin food is authenticity comes in the beans and rice. This pmace has it. You can tell their beans are homecooked in a pot then refried. Rice is nice and soft but not soggy. Meat was on point. You never want food to have to much salt and this place doesnt do that. So it allow you to do so yourself to please yourself on that part. A little hidden but its right next to white castle and its not crowded. Also, their horchata is actually homemade. Not that premix crap. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone.

I was expecting this lil place to be a lot better. Staff was very friendly but food had no flavor. Very dull. We had shared chicken fajitas which the chicken was nice white chicken sliced thin but no spice on it or the peppers and onions. Sauce that came with it were«red» one was yucky like burnt BBQ sauce and green was ok. Also got a beef taco and pork taco same tasteless and pork was fatty. Jamaican Tea was good!

Food was very good, good size portions, service was excellent even though it was a busy day and we arrived together with two other families, for appetizer we had beef nachos which were delicious and very freshly made and we just just added guacamole to it, we had the green enchiladas, beef fajita and my kids had chicken tacos all very good, for dessert we shared a churos with icecream(amazing) overall this place was very good, they played Mexican music and the place was very clean and beautiful with traditional Mexican décor, only problem is that is very small.

This unassuming establishment that’s right next to White Castle can be easily overlooked. It’s a cute little authentic Mexican restaurant and I love their stuffed pepper tacos. Apparently their breakfast burritos and food is where it’s at so I have to definitely come back and try those. Their horchata tasted completely watered down but I am willing to forgive them. They don’t accept debit or credit unless it’s over a certain amount so always bring cash if you’re by yourself.

Great service, great food. BYOB. Small place that will never be over crowded. Authentic Mexican food at its best.

Excellent tacos. I’ve had Al pastor and chorizo. Also had the chorizo torta, jalapeño releno, and mole tamale all very good. They also make a very good horchata. Friendly service as well.

This place is a great local Mexican restaurant of Toms River. I can say that I’m beyond pleased with their food and the authenticity of it. The restaurant is small, but the staff makes me you feel at home. It’s funny how me and my friends came to eating here for the first time. We were hungover and hungry for breakfast food even though it was 11am. We were debating going to a diner. Well, we took a wrong turn and immediately noticed this new place on the right as we were heading towards Rt 37. My friends seemed curious, so I spoke up and said hey let’s do this and try out this new place. I ordered chorizo sausage and scrambled eggs along with something else that I can’t remember. The server asked if we wanted corn tortillas. Well I tried my breakfast food on the corn tortilla and I was blown away. I’ve had breakfast, dinner food and recently ordered a large amount of it for my graduation party. Most of the food was gone and the only reason it didn’t completely disappear was that we were too full to eat another taco or flauta. Definitely give this place a shot if you want some good authentic Mexican food. :)
