I live downtown Toms River. This library used to be a focal point of the town and did great things for the people and families of Toms River and bordering towns. In the past years, it has become run down, un-kept, and down right raunchy, Bathrooms are dirty and people who hang in the lobby are questionable and scary. It is feeling like a run down bus station or seedy diner! What the heck happened to this place? Does the town still run this or has it gone privatized to a company that is only focuses on the bottom line. Very Sad.

Always really quiet and a great place to get work done if you’re like me and have too Many distractions at home. The librarians are nice. Minus one star because they are super strict about no food and drink. It’s kind of a bummer that I have to chug scalding hot coffee before I can walk into the library.

Great library! Staff is always helpful and friendly. It is kept very organized so what you are looking for is not difficult to find. Plus, there is a Dunkin Donuts attached so that is great!

My favorite go-to place when the weather is bad at the Jersey Shore. Large, clean, and spacious, with free parking in the lot behind the building. The Information Desk will give you a code to access the internet for free. There is a Dunkin Donuts inside the library for those who require refreshments.

This is a library, not much to review on it. I went in solely to use the computer and print out something. I walked in and was guided to where I needed to go. I will admit, the staff were all more than willing to help me get what I needed. Also, the library was very clean and as I walked through it, it gave some history on something. I did not stop to read but they had a setup displaying historical items.
