We placed a large catering order with Wallach’s a few weeks ago. The food was excellent and nothing but rave reviews from our guests! Coconut shrimp was amazing! Thanks Wallach’s!

Wow, I’ve been buying eggs from Wallachs for years thinking that their eggs are local & assumed they are from cage free chickens. When I learned that most of their eggs are really from PA and not cage free, I said to myself never again will I shop there. I feel deceived.

If you’re looking for a good price on eggs this is the place. The vegetables, bakery and deli are decent. The real downer is a loud, rude and obnoxious girl behind the counter. She pretends to be friendly but if you pay attention to her she tends to annoy a lot of their customers. I was next in line and she shouted at me to come over to the other side which I attempted to do. When I got there two people got in front of me which she waited on, totally disregarding the fact that on her loud insistence I had to struggle to get to the other side of the counter. Compounding this she kept answering the telephone. If I had ignored her and stayed where I was I would have paid for my order and been home by the time she waited on me. The other girl working the counter was cordial, efficient and pleasant. The rude one needs to pay attention to what she is doing. If you need eggs its a great place just ignore the loud, rude and obnoxious girl behind the counter.

My grandmother used to take me here all the time. The best eggs and omg the apple pie that they make is amazing. It’s always sold out and for good reason. It’s been a staple in the north Dover community for quite sometime and will likely always be there.

I was looking for somewhere to buy farm fresh eggs in the area, and Wallachs came up on google. I was pretty disappointed when I got there and the«local» eggs come from PA, and from caged hens. The cage free eggs they offered were the same brand that stop and shop and other stores carry, and from New Hampshire. The website promises farm fresh cage free, local eggs, but the store did not deliver. I decided to go with the large brown eggs from PA and they turned out to be slightly better than just buying whatever was the cheapest at the grocery store, for about the same price, so a fairly good deal. I also bought some muenster cheese(amazing) and a piece of fresh coffee cake(stale, too hard to even eat). When I went back to get eggs again, I decided to try their cold cuts. I asked for Boars Head turkey. I was charged for Boars Head turkey. They didn’t give me Boars Head turkey. When I got home, I realized the turkey smelled funny, and was kind of slimy looking. Nothing like the Boars Head I get at the grocery store. Total bait and switch. To add to it, the parking lot is small, and a lot of seniors tend to shop there. When I got home I noticed big scratches on the side of my car. That was enough to convince me to give up on Wallachs all together.

The food is excellent definitely 5 stars. I am taking off 2 stars because the woman that works behind the counter in the deli is very rude and unfriendly. She makes you feel as if it is a hassle to be taking your order. Sorry you are unhappy but you took this job. That’s what happens when you work in food service, you have to take customer orders. If you are one of the owners please learn how to deal with customers.

Wallachs Farms across the street from Spirits is the place to go for breakfast if u need a pork roll egg and cheese. For lunch try their famous sloppy joe sandwich with turkey, roast beef, cole slaw & russian dressing on rye, or pickup a chicken parm or penne vodka dinner to go… They have it all including catering, parties, platters and they are very professional, clean and courteous. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

If you need eggs, a dozen or a couple, go here. Fresh and cheap, can’t beat that. How about a breakfast sandwich? Their porkroll, egg, and cheese passed my test and again… it’s cheap. Not to mention in the morning they usually offer a 2 for 1 breakfast sandwich special. How can you beat that? The rest of their food is amazing. Fresh and tasty. Just had their chicken pot pie. It was perfect. Best I’ve had yet.
