Wang Sushi

Love this place! The green curry is amazing! Pad Thai is perfect and the pineapple rice is to die for. Perfect heat and flavor every time!

Always come here when I’m craving Thai tea! They also have the best pineapple fried rice:)

Amazing sushi every time ! Their food Is always consistent and fresh! I have yet to try any thing that tastes bad here. I am never disappointed after taking the long 40 minute drive to toms river. By far the best sushi place I have experienced. I highly recommend wangs:)

Terrible sushi. Used to love the pad Thai but now it just tastes like Korean noodles.

I love this place. My wife and I have been going here since they were by Kmart. We usually get take out, we ate there a few times when it was in the old location. We’ve always loved the phở and basil chicken which we have gotten offer. Another item that I have gotten several times and enjoyed is the Vietnamese pork chop. I tried the ramen for the first time tonight and it will be another item I will definitely get again. We also usually get some sushi and are never disappointed. The portions are always good and the prices are on the cheaper side.

It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get your order and typically that would make me stop patronizing a restaurant, but the food is absolutely delicious that I don’t even mind.

Really great spot! Very helpful and friendly service. We mostly get the sushi rolls and they are delicious and very reasonably priced. I tried the curry and wasn’t super impressed, but will definitely continue to try some other items.

Everything on the menu is delicious! They have the best fried rice around, and the sushi is great — try the foxy roll! The portions are very good and the prices are very reasonable.

This is the only place in the area where you can get BUBBLE TEA! If you want boba you usually have to drive an hour away and into Edison or New Brunswick so this place gets mad points for that. Next time I’m going to get my bubble tea with some fruit jelly.
Their specialties really lie in their hot plates. The princess noodles and the Korean kimchee udon (spelled ‘kim cheese’ on their menu, however there is no dairy in the dish that i’m aware of) have been my favorites and I also like their golden fried rice too.

I love this place is delicious !! Cant complaint i go every chance i have and honestly is awesome very nice people and sweet place !! Awesome sushi ! I wish i could eat it everyday but i cant lol i deff recommend this place is great! Go get soup sushi or noddles even salads are awesome!

This new location is smaller than the old one, but still cozy. They have a wide selection of Asian food, it’s a fusion restaurant, but some dishes are pretty authentic in my opinion, which is a good thing, very hard to find in a shore town.
Ordered: Taiwanese style salty and crispy chicken with basil, Taiwanese style steak and noodles on a sizzling pan, and Thai curry fried rice with chicken. All the food was delicious, my favorite is the salty and crispy chicken, normally you can only find it in north jersey area and flushing NYC, so happy that they serve it here. It’s my second time here, will definitely keep coming back.

Wang Sushi is a really nice addition to the downtown Toms River area, which does not have much in the ways of sushi. This place used to be located near Kmart, but have moved not very far, near EZ liquors on the same side of route 37. The sushi here is good, I’ve so far had their Jersey Roll, Spicy California, Spicy Girl Roll, and Shrimp Tempura along with their seaweed salad. All of it was fresh and good. My take-​out order was packed perfectly, the way it should be. The inside of the store is modern, with orange tables and glow lights near the sushi counter. Overall its a really cool place, and a welcome addition to this part of town. The owners were extremely kind to me when I went in at 9:40pm, just before they were going to close. They still greeted me with smiles, didn’t rush me at all to order, and even asked if I found the new location okay. I work in the restaurant business, and treating your customers like this goes a very long way. I recommend Wang Sushi to anyone in the area looking for a good casual spot for sushi, whether you eat it in their nice little dining room, or take out.

I have to say that when they’re good they’re great. tonight however they were simply not. the other night I got curry to go and it was legitimately the best curry I have ever had. tonight I got the same order and couldn’t even finish it. I won’t knock them because the new restaurant is cool and different for our area, and certainly miles ahead of what it was when it was tucked away behind the water store, but the food is inconsistent. I would eat the food they served me Tuesday every day for the rest of my life. I can’t even tell if the food I got Sunday night was bad or if my expectations were just that high and my disappointment made it worse than it was. it was as if I opened a gallon of whole milk and out poured skim. I guess I just won’t go Sundays.

Very small seating area, They need to put a a screen between the door and the first table near the soda machine to help block the cold air coming in during the winter.
We order some Spicy tune and salmon rolls, avocado roll, some specialty rolls, found some rice hard, and one roll had a fishy taste, to me that’s a no-no.didn’t even eat it. Everything was on one big plate, and since the tables were small it took over the entire table, we had drinks on their, and appetizers and no room to spread out. They need to find a bigger location, The sushi is OK. bland, same old stuff. ehh. i might go back if i was starving and needed a quick sushi fix…

Eaten their food several times. So far every single item has been amazing! Cozy if you eat in. Great friendly service, absolutely awesome food. Byob is a plus. This is the only sushi place you need.
