Well. The prostitution ring operating on my floor was a deterrent. I booked the room. Started moving my things and was asked by a fellow«dweller» if I was a cop. Ok… red flag. Then watched her let random guys in and take them int multiple rooms. Hmmmm. Ok. So I complained to the front desk. She acted like she knew what was going to on but had no proof. We both called the cops and they swarmed in as I was leaving but not a very good experience for a hotel. It is still the microtel! Do not believe that anything has changed or there has been renovations or changes. A playing ground for the«entrepreneurs».

Checked in last night had a smaller room with queen size bed, TV, air, continental breakfast. Room and bathroom were clean and up to date. It’s a simple room but served the purpose, sleep, shower, muffin, bagel, juice, coffee. The basics…

This hotel should be burned to the ground and replaced with a campsite and a 24 hour bowling alley; either of which would provide a better night’s rest. Sticky, smells like bug spray, and there is no elevator. The lighting was horrible, probably to mask the dirt, but you know it’s dirty because you can feel yourself sticking to things. The smell in particular was a problem, and made me wonder what type of cancer this place would give me. It permeated everything, I even dreamed of working at a toxic waste facility. In fairness this was the cheapest room available within 50 miles after 9PM, but it was still $ 125, and it was absolutely horrible. I have never said good things about this part of NY, and I would suspect some level of corruption for these high prices and poor sanity standards.
