This is one of my favorite spots to hit up during my lunch break! It’s close to my work so, if I go out for lunch I’ll usually come here. They have Great pizza and a great lunch special which will run you under $ 10 with a drink! I usually get the steak and cheese sandwich with a side of fries or onion rings. The employees are also very friendly and they are always quick! If this place was closer to my house, It would be my go to pizza spot but, Its to far, as I live down town! I’ve been coming here a while, they used to even have decent breakfast! Not sure if they are still serving it or not!

Ordered from here on a few occasions. More for convenience than want. Pizza logs are always spot on. Turkey sub is nothing to write home about. All I could smell and taste was the onion, and maybe had two slices of turkey on there. Forget the beef taco. Way smaller than La Hacienda Brightons version and was slopped with hot sauce which made the soft shell mush. Will not come here again, except for a pizza logs craving.

Maybe they were busy due to Bills game but that was the worst pizza I’ve had in loooonngggg time. Undercooked dough, peppers had weird off taste(possibly bad?). I think the oven is too hot as the crust was nicely brown but the dough on the inside was not cooked at all and the cheese was barely melted. My family loves this place and even they couldn’t eat this. On a positive note we did call and complain and they offered us a new pizza or a credit. Finally ordered a pizza to use my credit and it was much better. Thanks to the management for rectifying the issue!

Have been eating here since the beginning of time — well, at least the beginning of my time in the Buffalo area. I lived four blocks from this place and would walk there. It was great to get a quart of Zing from the corner dairy(no longer there) and a slice or two of pizza. Awesome. Some forty years later, I was back home visiting mom and stopped by for a slice. Where I live now, no one sells just a slice of pizza, what a shame. Anyway, Dipaulo’s had some slices and they tasted great. Michigan pizza is different, but Dipaulo’s is great. Love the pepperoni on it. Interior is nice than it was in the olden days, good improvement. Mike has run a great place, glad it is still around.

Paula Abdul just bought this place, and is considering renaming it «DiPaula’s» but Simon Cowell says«that name is absolutely atrocious, it’s appalling, and I hope that you have a day job, because you really should not quit it if this is the best you can do with regards to naming your business.» What to get: slices. If it was DePollo’s then it would sell Latin Chicken. If it was RonPaulos then it would have moderate and almost progressive conservative views. If it was RuPaulos then it would look like a very tall woman. But it’s not. This is a quintessential Buffalo slice, and is actually one of the best slices in town. I’m all about it. I had it on a winters’ day because I had to visit the location of Parkside Candy here(and remind myself that I don’t like their Sponge Candy). The plaza is very quiet, dead almost, which is a shame because it means a lot of people are missing out on one of the better slices in town. DiPaulo’s has it going on. Good crust, good dough, good tomato sauce, good thick cheese, and good burned greasy pepperoni. It was a good slice on every level, an easy 5/5, and a better slice than the competitors a little way down Brighton Ave. Head up to Tonawanda and give it a try if you are a fan of Buffalo-style Pizza slices. And don’t go here to get drunk. It’s not called«Disaronos.» And don’t expect to be arrested by an Eastern Suburban cop either. Otherwise you’d be violating«DepewLaws.» And you and I will always be good friends. In that sense, we are«Deep Allies.»

As being a favorite place since my childhood, it’s been a couple years since I’ve last visited, but Mike has always been a very present active owner. I’ve ordered the same thing every time for the past 14 years! A tuna on toast with lettuce. This place is one of the best places that serves pizza, and I look forward to going here every-time I visit.

I was in buffalo from oct 12th-19th, first pizza stop, Depaulos… Its my favorite pizza since childhood. The pepperoni is quite amazing… The best pizza… If you are in buffalo and looking for good pizza, wait no more. :) A recommend.

Pizza lacking taste-way too salty– sauce is tasteless — crust with nothing-not even pizza dough. I remember when DiPaulo’s had great pizza, good prices and Quality ingredients. Although that was back in 1999. Their large pizza has 8 slices– that’s a medium in my book. Cost $ 15.50

The pizza was a little tasteless. Cheese also seemed a little old. And their fountain drinks were not particularly carbonated and tasted strange. Too many other good places around to give it a second chance, but hey — I probably will because it didn’t make me sick and because of it’s close proximity to my house. Will post again if they improve.

I’ve never actually ordered Pizza from this place, but they make one hell of a breakfast sandwich that my girlfriend turned me on to. If you can think of your perfect breakfast sandwich and multiply that by 10, you get a Dipaulo’s sandwich. Maybe some day I’ll actually try the pizza…

Sadly, the only think I’ve had at Dipaulos is their breakfast sandwich. My company orders breakfast sandwiches from them every Friday. They are the best I’ve ever had. I have been getting the bacon, egg, and cheese. But lately, I will get just egg and cheese. I don’t know what Dipaulo’s does that makes it so amazing but it is. I really wish I could have the breakfast sandwich every day. They’re not expensive either, $ 3 for meatless and $ 4 for meat, either bacon, sausage, or steak. I compare that to Dunkin Donut’s fake eggs, cold cheese, and hard sausage on a stale roll for the same amount.

Just had there Steak Pizza with Hot Peppers, it was excellent. There Cheese & Pepperoni is also very good. Have had the Chicken Finger Sub, Steak & Cheese Sub, and there Royal. All above standard for the highly saturated Pizza, Wing, and Sub«Place», Here in Buffalo. Averaged priced. Highly Recommended

Dipaulos has, sadly, declined in both quality and affordability over the past few years. While their menu selection is on par with or better than most local Mom & Pop pizza shops, they’ve raised their prices considerably. Because of this, the nearby(and abundant) competition is that much more attractive. As for the quality of the food, it largely depends on who’s working in the kitchen. I’ve often received burnt or undercooked food from them. That said, kitchen snafu’s nonwithstanding, their pizza & wings are good, and their subs are decent.

DiPaulo’s is the local pizza place that all other pizza places should be compared to. The overall flavor of their pizza is just the best. The sauce, the pepperoni, the dough, etc. Is excellent. The people are friendly and the décor is retro but who cares. When you have the best tasting pizza around, that is all that matters.
