Pretty average bar… I liked a lot of the sports memorabilia on the walls… Pool table is in a good spot… Dart board a terrible spot… That said there really isn’t another place to put the dart board… Bartender was pretty fast getting my drinks… I’d definitely go back

I stopped in Mitchell’s last month for lunch as I was in the area and I was impressed! This is your typical dive/​sports bar with lots of sports memorabilia covering every wall. I ordered the Greek salad and my colleague ordered the Southwestern BBQ burger. We were both impressed by our meals especially because of how affordable and fair the prices are here. The service here was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Definitely planning on returning for another affordable and tasty meal!

We had a coupon for BOGO sandwiches, so my boyfriend and I stopped by here on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
The interior is dark and cozy, reminiscent of a neighborhood bar from the 90s. Between the ambiance and awesome sports memorbilia, I felt right at home.
Prices here are CHEAP. So cheap that it almost felt pointless to use our coupon. The food was nothing to rave about, but its unpretentious presentation fit right in with the bar’s personality. Service was attentive and friendly, even though we were sitting at a bar table instead of at the bar proper.
I ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, my lunch partner had the Greek burger and a side of fries. Between that, our coupon, a marginally generous tip, and a couple soft drinks (we were still in recovery mode from the night before), our bill was only $ 14. For that alone, I will return.

Love this place. Good food, friendly atmosphere, excellent service. If you like any kind of sports this is a place to visit…

A neighborhood bar like this is hard to find! Great food, right off the exit and great drink specials! What more can you ask for?
Best bar near Grand Island!

Being a go-​to of several of my friends who are from the area, I’ve ended up here by default a few times. Each time has been worse than before, as the main late night crowd is always a bunch of locals who forget they aren’t in a high school anymore (drama). But it was never as aggravating as last night, when my frustration with the bartender has guaranteed I will not return.
I first ordered a Captain and coke on my boyfriend’s tab. Noticing how weak it was, but still craving my favorite drink, I ordered the next round and watched it being made. The bartender put the glass of ice on the bar and put MAYBE (closer to less than) a half shot in it. Then she proceeded to take and prepare (with the right amount of alcohol) the orders of two people who had just walked in (presumably her friends) who had more complicated beverages than mine. When she finally put in the coke, she skimped out on that too (possibly trying to hide how weak it was). She brought it to me as I turned to shoot in darts. After my turn, my boyfriend’s beer was still not ready. When she did bring it over, she just stared at me, waiting for a credit card even though I had cash in my hand. I had to ask her how much it was, and she had to input it in the register to find out. Perhaps because I was already frustrated this bothered me so much, but she is a veteran bartender and it wasn’t an excessive order so I anticipated her to know without punching it in. My total was $ 7.50 (which would be great for two drinks, if it was made with the standard portions). I gave her $ 8, and never got my change back. Considering that’s over an hour of pay being a server, I was very unhappy.
I’m not a confrontational person, so I did not say anything. I also understand people have bad days/aren’t always on point at work. But she tended to her regulars well, and I was very annoyed with her lack of hospitality at a bar I didn’t really want to be at anyway.

I do not add reviews as much as I should as I expect good service. I have become a regular at Mitchell’s. First of all the prices are so reasonable that I feel I should pay more. Secondly, I love the food. The wraps are amazing. I was in last Saturday for lunch and had the Mitchell’s wrap. Their specialty is roast beef and this was the best wrap I ever had. The time before I had the Buffalo wrap. The sports memorabilia on the wall is incredible. I always spend time just walking around looking at the pictures and autographs. Every time I go in new items are on the wall. This time a UB game used autographed jersey was added. If you are looking for a great comfort meal or fun place to hangout at night (pool table, dart board, internet jukebox for any song you can ever think of!) then Mitchell’s is the place. I also inquired about catering. They have catering both away from restaurant as well as a separate location for private parties.

Mitchell’s was a place that I had seen and heard about for years and yet never tried. Well, one day I decided that I would give it a shot. The inside could use a bit of an update, but the food and friendliness of the staff made up for that. The bartender /​server helped suggest options, after we stated that we were newbies. Well… the fish was excellent, as was the roast beef. I will definitely be back.

My kind of dive. Good food cheap. I had the fish fry being Friday and everything, the fry was good… not the best but good. I would definitely go back, but probably try the famous roast beef sandwich instead. The patio was a nice and relaxing way to spend the evening. Heard about an exciting men’s room experience, too bad that they don’t have a women’s room equivalent… hmmm…wonder what that would even be… :) I would go back and spend another lazy evening

I just had the best roast beef I can remember! Yes, Kevin, the best. The fries were lightly battered and I got the family Texas sauce and cheese on them. Good thing my cardiologist likes me so much. Good draft selection as the rusty chain went down smooth. Tammy loved the sweet potato fries with the butter and honey separated for your own indulgence. All in all, highly recommended for simple and excellent pub food.

Mitchell’s is a great place for cheap drinks, good times and amazing bar food. I’ve been to MT a few times now, and I love when you immediately walk in, you know that you’ve entered a Buffalo Sports haven. Pictures are all over the entire bar from Wide left, No goal, Kelly, Hasek, Miller, Spiller, Peca, Flutie, Brruucceee, and all the favorites. Mitchell’s literally captures Buffalo Sports one great team at a time and is really fun to reminiscence over.
Mitchell’s is also drink specials heaven. Specials during all Yankees games, Bills games, Sabres games, daily happy hour and even week night specials, you can always save some change if you go during the right time! They feature your typical domestics: bud, coors, labatts, molson, yuengling but I’ve always seen some Stella and Flying Bison there, so you never know. Also I love over indulging on the free popcorn which seems to be always way too salty.
The food, especially their specialty the roast beef is something to order at least once. It is definitely some of the best in the city! I’ve also enjoyed the meat loaf as well. The cost of all their menu items is beyond a great value. There are also plenty of TVs, so whatever game you want to watch, they’ve been willing to change it to suit my tastes.
Go to Mitchell’s for a great time! Also if you are a fan of soccer or the female anatomy you’ll enjoy the men’s restroom!

First off, this is a very casual corner bar. Great lunch specials. Today it is their fantastic meat loaf, 2 large piece on white bread and absolutely smothered in gravy. Famous for fish fry. 2 for 1 beers on many days. Perfect for after softball games in summer. Also free wifi. Happy hour bartenders awesome.
