I have never been to the restaurant part, just the take out pizzeria. I had high hopes for the pizzeria as I live in the apartments right there and I don’t drive, so the location is very convenient for me. However, I have been disappointed every time I have ordered from here. When I first moved in I got a chicken finger sub, which was very small for being almost $ 10. it didn’t even come with fries. The chicken fingers were small and it didn’t taste very good. A couple of times I have ordered burgers and it really seems like these people don’t know how to cook a burger. I ordered mine well done and my fiancée ordered hers medium and they looked exactly the same — very pink. I normally wouldn’t mind if my burger was undercooked, however I am pregnant and it’s a risk to both myself and my baby to have a burger that is rare when I asked for well done. And it hasn’t happened once, but twice now when I’ve ordered a burger. It really takes away from the quality of the burger when I have to throw it in the microwave for a few minutes just to finish cooking it. Also, last time i went there the main topping on my burger, the onion straws were missing and I had to go back to get them put on. Today I ordered chicken fingers and I am very confused as why it came to $ 19-$ 20 when the website for Raintree Pizzeria says a double order with fries is $ 14.99, and their take out menu that I grabbed 2 weeks ago says $ 15.99. Even at $ 16 I don’t understand why it came to almost $ 20 after tax. I don’t trust a place with such inconsistent pricing. The burger prices are also off from what the website says. And my chicken fingers tasted mediocre, like frozen grocery store ones, and they gave me two containers of what I thought was supposed to be blue cheese, but the consistency seemed off and it tasted like it was greek salad dressing. Thankfully I had my own blue cheese at home. Overall I am not impressed with this place and I think this is the last time I will be ordering from here.

Went to dinner for a fish fry last night. Told the wait would be 20 minutes. 35 minutes later and seeing twosomes seated first, we were a group of 6. Was told it was easier to seat two’s. I became frustrated. They could have put two tables together. The service was poor. Our waitress walked around our table 3 times before she asked if we needed anything.

Very inviting when you enter the building. The service was lacking– my sister and I waited to be seated and waited over 45 minutes for our food we ordered. The waitress did not apologize initially for the wait. When asked for the food to be boxed because we we’re in a hurry– she took her time. I will not be returning.

I always have such a wonderful time here. The beef on weck has a special place in my heart, it’s so good. This is one of my favorite hang out spots. I love playing darts and have a few drinks. The service has always been above and beyond, they really do care about their customers.

Ordered subs from there it was terrible. The chicken finger subs were dry barley had hot sauce or blue cheese on them. The fingers were also small. Also ordered fries and they were chewy. Was very disappointed with the food and I don’t think I will be returning.

Excellent place to relax and eat some quality food. The pizza place next door is just as good. I live within minutes of the place and admittedly should frequent it a bit more often. If you’ve ever want to go to a quiet establishment with great service and food, here you go.

The Raintree Bar and Grill is often bustling during the weekend hours, filled with happy hour specials and families looking to watch a hockey game with delicious food. Regardless, I always have a great experience here and the service is partially why. Even if there is an issue with an order, each server has always been careful enough to listen and fix any issues. The menu has more than just your average pizza and sub combos, and the peach sangria is an all-time favorite. Perfect spot for the weekend!

Tonight I hd the Cubano Sandwich with a half Mac n cheese! Never had a Cubano before but always wanted to try one after watching«The Chef». Tasted great to me! My husband had fried Bologna Sandwich and loaded fries. 5 out of five stars the last five or six times I’ve been here… Pretty consistent!

Food is excellent. Owner and staff are great folks. There is live entertainment some evenings. Also some big screens for the sports enthusiast. We always eat out on the patio but they do allow smoking out there. It’s the one thing I am not fond of. If it’s not an issue for you then it’s five stars.

I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. The food and drinks are all great, the servers/bartenders are very friendly and will give you their recommendations if you are having trouble deciding. Their menu has just about anything you might want and the prices are reasonable. They also have those Touch Tunes things so you can play the music from your phone. Lots of space to play darts or have a band play. Will definitely be back.

Great location, very close to me. Great establishment and great atmosphere. Service is great as well. Unfortunatley I cannot say the same about the food. I have eaten there 4 times and have never had a good experience. I am not hard to please by any means. The menu is huge, I would rather they did a better job on less items compared to a mediocre job on many.

ok. so i dont know much about the bar. but the pizzeria next door is some of the best pizza food ive ever had. their pizza is most delicious. but the subs are the reason i order from this place. i ordered a steak hoagie and cheeseburger sub with fries for my girlfriend and i and BOTH subs were looking so fresh. the rolls WERENT greasy messes and juicin down my arm, also the insides were evenly spread and DIDNT burst out the middle like so many other places. they were neat and clean like subs should be and the taste most certainly did not suffer. im not one to call a place back. but i called the place back, and told them this food was greatly appreciated and i loved every minute of it. even the fries were so neatly packed and had some crisp to them still even after i picked it up super late. im just saying. i hope they see this review and it gives them the same joy this meal gave me.

My husband picked up take out from here. I’ve never actually been here so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. My husband had a fish fry and the seared ahi tuna starter. He said the fish fry was the best one he’s had in years. He’s really big on beer battered. He said the tartar sauce was up to his standards as well. It came in a really sturdy box which I thought was cool. As for the ahi tuna, it was completely cooked through and not«seared» as described. I understand that some places have to cook it through either due to the quality of the fish or the quality of the chef; this is apparently one of places. If you like your tuna raw(or «seared»), don’t bother with it here. I had the turkey pretzel sandwich. It was decent; nothing too special about it. The french fries were very well seasoned. The pickle that came with it was super fresh! I hate it when places gives you old, slimy, weak pickles. You can really judge a place by their pickles. I also had a half side of mac and cheese. That was the best thing we got. It was extra gooey with spiral pasta, my favorite.

Hidden in the back of a nondescript suburban plaza is quite a surprise. Came for a family members birthday and I was a bit apprehensive before reading the reviews. For starters this place is pretty modern inside and a has a fun atmosphere. The band that came on later in the evening was great and the place was packed. The menu is decently sized and everything sounded good so it was hard to come to a decision. Around the table there were several burgers, salads, chicken wings, chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich. I had the Greek lamb burger. I have to be in the mood for a burger which I was and this did not disappoint. The patty was delicious and I loved the tzatziki sauce. I also tried the wings and a bite of the chicken sandwich. Those were quite good as well. All around no one had anything but praises for their food. Although we don’t venture to this particular corner of tonawanda often, I plan on returning. This place is an example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its ugly suburban plaza cover.

Came in on a Friday night around 630 and were able to get s table for 4 right away. It took a while for someone to come over to take our drink orders. It also took a while for our entrees to arrive. Once they did my wife realized she didn’t have any silverware. We weren’t able to flag down a waitress for over five minutes so I got up and grabbed a set myself. I’m certain the reason we were a set shirt is because they leave the wrapped silverware on the tables rather than have the hostess bring them when she seats you. As a result, I’m sure the people who say where I snagged it from were short as well. This is a simple issue that the hostess should check each time she seats somebody, she doesn’t have much else to do. My entrée was a special, chicken balsamic. It was very dry and did not taste of balsamic. Everybody else at the table said theirs were average at best. Just seems to have gone downhill since I was there last around the time they first opened.

We dined here last night. We had a party of 6 and were easily accommodated. I love that the tables are large an roomy — two pushed together fit 8 chairs very comfortably. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza, a margherita pizza, and 30 wings(15 medium, 15 Bourbon). All of the food was excellent. The pizza crust is nice and soft without being soggy. Plenty of toppings but not too much, and the tomatoes and basil on the margherita pizza were nice and fresh. I thought it could use more basil, but that’s just a personal taste thing. With 2 pizzas and 30 wings and 6 people, we ate all but 3 of the wings — it was that good. The beer selection is decent. The glasses were cold, and the service was good. The waitress was attentive without being bothersome. It’s a nice large place, so even though there was live music, we were able to talk comfortably. My only complaint is that the tap water was horrible. They need a filter on their water dispenser because it tasted like chemicals/bleach/minerals. And the parking lot could use some repairs — there were some pretty big potholes to maneuver around when entering from Colvin. All in all, a positive experience, and we will definitely be back.

Got a pizza, reasonable price, good pizza and reheats well. It’s convenient and pretty darn good. The crust is a little soft and the pizzas are always over or under cooked 60% of the time. But the sauce is good. Also, they have a nice patio and a huge menu if you want to try the restaurant.

We live in Raintree Island, so we go here often because it is close. Every time we seem to get pizza here the dough is still raw — they never can seem to cook it long enough before bringing out. If it happens to be a good day and it is fully cooked the crust is too soft. And I mean the kind of soft that you can’t pick up a slice without it folding backwards and emptying off all the toppings. The service of the waiters are subpar and I only say that because I seem to go through a whole meal waiting for our waitress to come back and refill our drinks and check on us and then it takes a lifetime for them to give us the bill and take our payment. On a good note their wings are phenomenal! Always crispy and their spicy barbecue sauce is great!

A friend of mine lives in the Raintree apartment complex, so we were excited to hear about a high-quality bar opening up in the nearby vicinity. The bar’s placement within walking distance of her apartment was definitely a huge selling point for us. Even the bar offerings in terms of environment and alcohol are pretty standard, the service definitely bumped my rating up a full star. The owners re actively involved in the operations aspect of the bar and engage professionally with the crowd. The bartenders and waiters were friendly and interested in their clientele, most of whom live nearby in the apartment complexes. The noise level was perfect. One could have an engaging conversation with the people they came with, but there was still a nice musical selection thanks to a modern jukebox in the dining area. If only some people were able to better discern the difference between«going out» music and«stay at home» music, since a few patrons’ selections were pretty much sleep-inducing. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone in the Raintree complex, and also would encourage locals who do not to check it out, as well! I know that my friends and I will be back soon.
