If you are a person that enjoys an exceptional amount of repeated stress and disappointment coupled with an exhaustive effort of throwing out as much money as enters in to your wallet or purse, then look no further, I have the business for you! Welcome to Stanton Optical where you can get two pairs of glass for the price of 1… Cruise Ship. Speaking of glorious cruise ships, the time it takes to get said glasses matches that of the Titanic’s return safely to shore from it’s departure. But to be fair, the glasses did show over the span of 3 months… with incorrect prescriptions… and lenses that did not actually make it to the corners of the frames leaving a gap that you can out the tip of your finger through… and made of a space age polymer that is equivalent to the strength of decade old tinfoil. But in the interim between order time and old age, if you need to call on the status of these glasses, you should walk down the street to any random corner store and ask the cashier, as they will have exactly the same information on the whereabouts of your glasses as both the actual Stanton location OR «Corporate.» So, when you finally do get your glasses, sell a kidney to pay for them and ultimately return them days later for a full refund, know that your goal in achieving complete and utter self deprecation has come to fruition.

There shouldn’t be much room for error for when you order glasses, but this place takes the cake for terrible service. I got my free eye exam and the prescription went up only by a little. When I got my glasses(2 pair, that’s their special deal) I was unable to read literature looking down and the person helping me said that’s normal for new glasses… Umm no. So I gave it a try, but as I thought something was seriously wrong with these glasses. So I took them back and I wanted a return since they did not help my vision. They have no return policy by the way. They said they can only reframe and change the lenses. So it took them THREE hours and another eye exam later for them to realize that the problem I have with my glasses is that my base curve for my original glasses is higher than the base curve they standardly use. All they had to do was measure my original glasses with a little device. Talk about stupid. I went through 3 customer service workers for them to realize this. So my glasses are sent out specially to be made since my base curve is higher. Two weeks later I go to pick up my glasses. The customer service worker tells me my one pair is ready but the other pair isn’t ready because she scratched my lenses on accident with a screw driver. I’m furious. So another two weeks later I now have my two pair. It was a nightmare and my glasses aren’t even that good of quality. I strongly urge you to not come here EVER.

It was my first time using Stanton Optical and it will be my last. I wasn’t happy with the extra charges on my bill and I was told my contacts would be in 2 weeks later and I never received a call. After waiting 6 weeks, I called them. They told me they might be in the delivery that day. They seem to be very disorganized. I was told to be at my appointment promptly because they had someone coming in 15 minutes after me. After I rushed to get there, they didn’t even take me for 20 minutes. The Optician/Doctor who did my exam was very nice. That’s the only positive thing I have to stay about my experience with them.

Terrible terrible terrible. No one acknowledged met when I walked in. Once I was able to get approved to help I was treated as if I should have known where I was to go. There was an issue with my insurance and the employee just kept telling met she was new. I was informed three doctor was running 15 mins behind this was street I had been waiting 40 mins. After the exam I was instructed to check out. Again I had to fight out whom to go to. The employee that helped me was not a period person and was extremely condescending. I will not go into the details of his unceanliness. I was told my contacts would be ready in 7 – 10 days After numerous phone calls I finally received the phone call that they where ready for pick up on day 26. I never was able to find out what the holdup was with the contacts. I believe that the only reason they called when they did was because I. Informed them that I was contacting Call 4 Action… which I did. I would never ever ever recommend anyone to go here.
