There’s no way I’m giving a legitimate well prepared fried pie any less than 5 stars. This was actually our first stop on my bi-annual visit down to my parents. Amazingly enough, my wife had never had such a thing. Guess we found our reason to stop pretty quick. The first time I had one of these was actually at the one down by Turner Falls near Ardmore years ago, and had been wanting one for a while. This stop did not disappoint. It’s just a bit off I-35, and it feels a bit in the middle of nowhere, but hey. I don’t ask questions about these things. Inside, it was surprisingly clean and roomy. They had a ton of options from sweet to savory; desserts to breakfast and lunch options. My wife chose cherry and I chose lemon. I knew I wouldn’t be let down and my wife discovered that she loved the pastry. Needless to say, I think we’ve found a new stop to make when we leave Wichita for locations deeper into Oklahoma than Blackwell or Ponca City.

I just had my first fried chicken and veg pie. Awesome. The crust is light and delicious and the filling is top notch. I would highly recommend to anyone driving by. Will be having a peach pie for dessert.

Fried pie heaven! Choose one or more sweet or savory fried pastries for a snack or full meal — like chicken broccoli, bacon-egg-cheese, pineapple, apricot, chocolate cream or about 20 other varieties. Priced $ 3 to $ 4 each. Served hot or cold, or buy some frozen to take home. Took about 5 minutes to get ours and they were Delicious.(Allergen warning: they are all deep fried in peanut oil, but signs everywhere alert you.) Most ppl eat them from one end of the crescent to the other, but I like to eat the Brit way — hold the curved rim and bite into the flakey middle. Get extra napkins. Nothing else on the menu except drinks(and some free kittens). Very bright and clean, with room for a busload of diners.

On our way through Oklahoma hungry pains hit, after looking for a place. Read the reviews for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The people were very friendly, explained how their pies are made. We ordered not only meat pies, but also fruit pies! Very delicious, & not greasy! Reminded me of when I was young and my grandma & aunts made! I’d recommend this place and if close again Will return.

Amazing fried pies and meat pies. Plus clean bathrooms… definitely worth the stop. Try the cherry pie but I suggest using a plate or you might wear your pie.

Stopped here during a road trip. I got a fried peach pie, and my daughter got a fried chocolate pie. They also had some savory options, like spinach and mushroom and pizza, but we stuck with sweet pies we could grab and go. I was expecting small greasy fried pies like the ones they used to sell at convenience stores back in the day. I was pleasantly surprised. They are not greasy at all and, to me, resembled a baked turnover. The crust is good. The peach filling was a little too sweet, but the flavor is good. My daughter, who reminded me that she does not like pies, said, «This is good.» She said the chocolate filling is not too rich, and she loves the crust. All in all, a good stop. Note the pies are big; two people could easily share one.

If you just happen to be driving down this road, you HAVE to stop here. These are the best pies EVER! The service is amazing and the pies are too. We came by two times and got nine pies all together. There are fruit, cream, meat and no-sugar-added pies. Also very easy to find!

We stopped here on a whim and were really pleased. They have a very large eating area and it was a clean establishment. The parking lot is huge and the staff was friendly. We each had a pie and had absolutely no complaints! We will certainly stop again if we are driving by or check out one of their other many locations.

This business isn’t very pleasing to the eye but their pies are extremely pleasing to the tastebuds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the stop!!!
