Genstler Eye Center

So this is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written and, perhaps, it seems odd I’d be doing such to review an ophthalmologist and not a local tex-​mex joint– but whatever, here goes.
I went to Genstler because I suffered multiple abrasions to my cornea, right on top of my pupil. A weird injury to suffer, I’ll admit. It definitely wasn’t a broken bone or anything– but it sure felt like it. I’d never injured an eye before but this was probably one of the top five worst pains I’d felt in my life. Thus, my trip to Genstler.
Ultimately, whereas all the nurses were more than friendly, the doctors were not. Not that they weren’t «friendly», perhaps– but they just didn’t seem to care (which is interesting because the first thing they describe themselves as being on their website are «compassionate experts»). Upon my third visit after treatment, my eye hadn’t gotten any better, which I told the nurse upon intake. I then heard her tell this to the doctor in the lobby to which he replied «well what does he want me to do about it?». He then gave me 3 minutes of his time, told me to put an icepack on it, asked if I wanted a contact, and sent me on my way. Again, the nurses were nice. However, in my opinion, the «compassion» I received from the doctors here certainly warrant a 1 star review.
