Juice Stop

Visited here today after my son’s soccer game. Did not enjoy it as much as the one’s in Lawrence. Not as friendly. Bathroom was broken. Sink didnt work to wash my hands (just the handle). $ 10 fix at home depot. How do the employees wash their hands after going to the bathroom?
I always get turned off when pressed to tip. Don’t get me wrong I tip well but hate having gratuity included or asked for. Their computer system makes me designate my tip with of course telling me exactly what the amount is for each %ile. Crude.
I specifically ordered a large drink and asked for it to be split in 2 separate cups – no problem they said. Up charge me for the cup if its a problem. My boys share same one all the time in Lawrence. Here they forgot. When I asked to separate it they rolled their eyes. Then brought me back a large divided into 2 tiny cups. Normally fills at least a small ¾ the way thru. This indicates to me I payed for a large and got a medium divided in 2 cups. NOT OK.
Maybe I was hot. Maybe my kids were bugging me. Either way this was not the best. 3 stars were for the quality of the drink.
I recommend cleaning it up some owners. And for God sake get another knob for the sink in the bathroom! Gross.

This place has the capability to make some bomb a** smoothies. However, I find that they’re a little inconsistent with the ingredients. I order the same thing every time– I have for years, but sometimes it tastes distinguishably different.
Really the biggest issue at this location is the teenage employees that literally don’t say anything to you. They don’t ask «what can we get for you» or anything along those lines. They stand behind the register and look at you until you say something. I always thought it’s kinda rude to just start blurting out an order without being asked but these kids just don’t say anything. If you want to play a fun game, just see how long you can stand there one on one with them at the register silently before they finally just ask what you want. It’s a little amusing. They also don’t say thank you. Sometimes I like to be overly friendly to them just to see if I can get any sort of friendliness back– nope, they’re not really having that.
In all seriousness, probably the last 4 times I’ve went in I’ve thought to myself that it will be my last time due to the poor customer service. The smoothies keep me coming back though so I suppose they’re doing something right. Except when they make it wrong.

Love, love, love this place! So many delicious options. I can’t even pick one favorite!

For not being a chain, consistency is one of this joint’s strong points!
I’ve stopped in here a few times over the years to grab a smoothie and as far as the drinks go, I’ve never been let down.
They offer your standard smoothie fair, nothing you wouldn’t find at Jamba or any other place.
The staff is friendly, however, I found service to be a little inconsistent. Sometimes my order is taken right away, other times, it seems like all the orders are lumped together and then made based on the quickness. That’s not that big of deal, just sometimes I’m in a hurry. The store is always very clean. Floors, counters, everything. This is nice when you’ve got a few minutes to kill while they make your order.
They also have an assortment of granola bars, healthy snacks, and I believe at one time they carried jerky, but I could be mistaken.
Although it can be a little pricey for some items, it’s not ridiculous in light of what you might pay for premium mixes in other places.
NOTE: Because this place is in fairlawn plaza, it’s just a little enough off the beaten path to never be too busy. I’ve never had to crown surf my way to the front and that’s good in my book.

I’m a huge fan of the Singletrack with Yogurt instead of Sherbert and added Honey. That drink is amazing.
That said, pretty much everything on the menu is delicious and fresh, albeit a little pricey (Starbucks is roughly equivalent on price, though, and you get way more drink here; plus it’s healthy!).
And, this place KILLS Jamba Juice with the wrath of 1000 Atilla’s. It’s not even a close call.
